I'd assume a reason would be that a lot of people were disappointed with the removal of kits a while back, and some of them left.
I'm pretty sure - from the looks of Google's analytics, Minecraft is on the decline... A lot less people are looking for Minecraft.
Cyp honestly does not give a fly <edit> about mineverse. This bhop that has ruined kitpvp continues too ruin it. The reason i left is cause the staff were so bad. Some of them were good but there were lots of bad ones. If you do 1 thing wrong the mods will hate you forever thats it plus they are not well trained. I went on an alt on op pvp and comboed the out of a kid and i got banned for hacking its just bs.
since when you were the salty ex-mod -- The server died because when you have 3 servers (used to be 4) to handle, the workload can be far too much to handle. I'd say the closure of skywars.com was a great choice, but something else needs to be done. I'd say sell skyblock.net or Mineverse to someone who can be trusted and who is willing to make a hell lot of fixing and changes.

Mainly because kits were removed- people quit because they had donated a lot of money to see their rank perks go. Also it had ruined games as most were based around pay-2-win.
