Hey guys I'm back with another theard and I'm thinking on apply for mod? Do u guys think I should for those people who know how I okay say support or no support thy for ur feedback
Moved to Discussion. And it's your choice, but make sure you meet these requirements before applying: https://www.mineverse.com/threads/moderator-application-requirements.85774/
What are you even trying to say ? Judging by how poorly written that is, I doubt you'll actually be promoted. To make things worse, you shorten already small words. That's not appealing at all. You can apply for mod if you want, but I strongly doubt you'll be promoted. You don't even meet the requirements, so don't bother to apply until you do meet them.
Dude chill I can use good grammar and words this want ment to be my application just a fun suggesment box
The biggest mistake an applicant can make is go to a thread and ask if they should be a Moderator. It sets a bad impression.
u don't qualify yet, and many other more qualified ppl have been turned down in the past your statement contradicts itself.
In order to have a SHOT at becoming mod you need to be here for at least for a year, have over 1000 posts on the forums (not always though), make hundreds of player reports, and most importantly be well-known and make sure everyone likes you, especially the staff, and it is a huge bonus if you're cool with the higher ups. I'm not trying to be rude, but I've been here awhile and that is what happens. Only one in a lot of people (too lazy to draw a specific number) actually have a shot at being accepted. Its unforunate, but it is the system and it is not changing. So I suggest not wasting your time writing a thoughtful application because more than likely it'll be ignored. Instead try building up a good reputation on here.
A clear example of how your comment is wrong is Exstatisfy (she didn't have all of that criteria), and now she is a Senior Moderator
I got promoted with a total of 2 reports during 7 months of being on the forums. Sure, reports and length of time spent on the forums help your chances sometimes, but in order to have a shot at becoming Moderator, you just need to meet the requirements.
Is it really 100% "wrong"? Obviously not every moderator accomplishes all of those things, but it is the trend I've been seeing with recent promotions at least. Exstatisfy was probably very well-known before she got promoted, and proved that she is a good mod and that is why she got senior mod. When I said a year in my post, I meant on the server generally. Time on the server can help you be more known, which would increase the chance the people will support your application. I feel like, and correct me if I'm wrong, but most people who meet the requirements would not get mod if they applied, so when I said "have a shot" I meant that the applicant has a high chance that they will actually get the position.
