If you're not an idiot you won't get scammed, simple.

it should be allowed throughout the server definitely on factions/opfactions as that's how it is on most servers and it should stop being catered to the few 10 year olds which play

Not necessarily, people, are just scumbags and shouldn't be scamming in the first place, minecraft is aged at 10 year olds, considering it's a block game. So don't hate on them ssmhh.

That doesn't change that the majority of people who get scammed are idiots and it's their fault entirely. I never hated on 10 year olds, I said that the game-modes should stop being catered to them as they're not the majority of the playerbase.

I used to scam people daily on this server and other servers, if you're smart you won't get scammed.

It doesn't come down to smartness, your just playing the game trying to purchase an item off another play hoping your not going to get scammed, and you try make a deal with them, to try not get scammed either way you are giving them.. a bit of cash or something first...

Are you kidding me? If you know what you're doing then you won't get scammed, simple as that.

No it doesn't work like that no one wants to be scammed, so people try making a deal with the other person, since no one wants to go first so most people usually half the cost, or item first and then, give the rest after the rest of the paying.

There's no point arguing with you. I know what people do to not get scammed, I'm saying that there are ways to not get scammed, being reputable, knowing who you're talking to, giving collateral, the other person being reputable etc.

If you're know what you're doing you won't get scammed, I don't understand how it doesn't work like that?
      !!! really!?

Just because you are smarter than some one else it does not make them an idiot and i does not mean they do not know what they are doing.

I never said I was smarter than anyone else, I'm saying if you know what you're doing and you're not being a total idiot while making a deal you won't get scammed, there's very obvious cues for when you can tell if someone is going to scam or not.

Actually, I know quite a few of your staff, along with Skyblock's. I'm not limited to just Minetime only because it is my main server. I'm just trying to make it easier for them, I know ours can be overwhelmed. Let's not start talking about this, keep it on topic. Still going with a No Support.

      Neutral, sorry.
      -Photoshop exists
      -False scams

But i think perm bans for people who want them (hint hint) would be nice. IF there was a thread for that, I would support it

      No support.

If I scam someone $2 on Kit PvP or Fire Protection I armour, I don't want to be perm banned. Also it's very easy to frame people for scamming.

Scamming is still scamming no matter how much the amount. It is just like saying i only hacked to kill 1 p4 u3 ds3 guy not 10.

Those are totally different levels of severity. It'd be more like "I hacked to see what that part of the lobby looked like". Which is not harmful at all, but still breaks the rules.

The two situations of similar severity I described are almost harmless, but they still break the rules and result in a ban. Though neither should result in a perm ban (In the instance it's the 1st offense).

Do you honestly think scamming someone $2 and scamming someone $20,000 should result in the same length of punishment? That's like saying someone who committed 1 murder should receive the same sentence as someone who committed 247 murders.

scamming is still scamming at the end of the day the amount you scammed someone does not really matter it is the fact that you broke the rule
