y there's no gamemodes mods anymore? I mean like Kitpvp and oppvp mod, like he's a mod in kitpvp and oppvp ONLY..
Because it makes moderating a game mode very difficult, you have to get enough moderators to moderate a game mode all the time and when a player goes to another gamemode to get a moderator they will likely find one that cannot actually help them because they cannot moderate the game mode they need help on.
Back when I was the only Survival moderator people would log on to request assistance with a hacker or whatever on KitPvP. Then got pissed off and called me ''useless'' because I wasn't a moderator on KitPvP. But then again they'd do that even if I came on KitPvP and helped them lol. It a downside like the one I just mentioned, but also benefits. There'd be more frequent moderators on a particular game-mode. That is why introducing a helper rank or trial moderator rank (for specific game-modes only) would help greatly. But that's never gonna happen.
I remember being a 2 game mode Moderator and the amount of hate I got for not being able to help people across the server was ridiculous. There were also people applying to moderate the more popular game modes (pvp, infection), so we didn't have many people who were able to moderate the less popular game modes (like creative and skygrid), except for like 1 person plus the few global staff.
TBH creative isn't really useful to moderate in my opinion. Hackers its gm 1. Tp trappers you can just buy a spawn ticket from the site for free
Honestly, It wouldn't be a good Idea to move back to that unless we have some sort of trialing rank mentioned by Ares. Especially seeing how the player count has gone down Its just all round better to keep moderators at a global rank.
