So i just wanted every one here on the forums to put their opinion about this topic down below in the comments because i feel this needs to be addressed. So what i need to say is i do not think that most of the mineverse staff have any experience with telling hacks or good judgment. It started about 5 months ago when my friend lagged out. He did hack but at this specific time he was lagging so hard he was in mid air and taking no kb. Some one recorded him and put it on the forums and the mod banned him. We went to appeal it and the mod said he was "obviously" hacking because he was "taking no kb and he was flying" . He said he would get other mods to come and look at it and all of them said he was hacking so he was stuck with the 30 day ban. The next problem rose when I was in the party house and CosmicGalaxy came in and started hitting me. I hit him one time and ate a gapple and i continued fighting. I got banned for kill aura because i switched from hitting him to eating a gapple "So fast" i told him that i used hit keys and he said he would get the opinion of the other mods. Yet again the came in and said i was hacking because i switched so fast from hitting to eating a gapple. So I'm wondering if this has happend to anyone? Feel free to share your opinions
Unfortunately, false bans like this happen sometimes, but rarely. Mineverse staff are always trained well enough to moderate and fulfil their duties.
Its not rarely i have 15 bans on my M007River account at least 5 of the bans were false ones also so mods are just in for players. Herf_ hated me when he was mod but the only mod who was kind to me was Pile and most of them hated me
Staff are trained when they are promoted, but we are human and even the more experienced staff members make mistakes sometimes. I know false bans are frustrating, but they can be resolved.
I kind of agree with this. I see many staff false ban players, and I think it's unfair if they do not get unbanned. But, they are only human.
Well, if the staff f up simply ask for significant hacking proof, video etc and if they don't have anything I'm sure you'll get unbanned.
I mean yeah, the staff aren't perfect. Some may not be the best, but we all have our faults that we work on. There are some areas that a moderator is better at than another moderator. It's what balances out the staff team, in my opinion. What I'm trying to say here is that the staff definitely are not perfect, but that's because we're all human. This phrase and "excuse" has been overused but to tell you the truth, it is the reason why you do see those false bans here and there.

I know you are humans and everyone makes mistakes but it has happened multiple times and never been resolved
