First of all, I am making this thread by Pile's request. Yesterday, I got banned for having a chest shop on my island that was buying sand. Since the moderator considered it as a starter item, such as dirt and lava, trading those items was recognised as bannable offence. I do not think that sand should be considered as an illegal starter item (that is illegal to trade), for two main reasons. Firstly, at the beginning of Skyblock, it was part of donor kits and secondly, there is only about 1 or 2 sand per island restart, which defeats the purpose of island farming it. It is also one of the rewards from the mob arena. All that being said, I suggest legalizing the trading or selling of sand on Skyblock. However, if this suggestion is denied for whatever reason, then over half of players on the first three baltops can get reported and banned, as everyone already buys sand. It is also important to mention that a clear list of starter items was never mentioned, which created ambiguity, considering that grass is allowed and not dirt and so on. Just a few example of the countless players who buy sand on their islands: /visit Krissie /visit SwagMasterLogen /visit MineverseShop (Nanurz) /visit TheAlexesGame /visit Oyy P) /visit Clerklol /warp TradeCenter /visit EastKind /visit NoTxch /visit OmgItsAnna /visit oleary303 /visit iPoxx /visit melgrath (I'm not sure) Every single one of these islands have a sand shop on their island, and those are just the ones I can recall from memory. Basically, if you think that all these players are breaking the rules, then anyone can feel free to report them for that same reason I got banned. Otherwise, any rational player would see that considering sand trading as illegal makes absolutely no sense, and Skyblock would die even faster than it is already dying. Please note that I have absolutely nothing against these players, and I genuinely believe this rule will get changed by posting their names to show how many of the top players actually don't think this is against the rules.
Who banned you They obviously have never played SB. Full support, although people have been doing this for a while, is it a new rule?
Because it's his job, whether he agreed with it or not. Sand trade is illegal. I support. Gonna try to talk about it with the staff later, I'll update with whether it ends up remaining illegal or not.
I can help you with that. :t: But honestly when we had kits available players received sand in their kits making it obtainable without island farming and I supported it then. Without kits the only way to get sand would be to island farm and sell signs. I am on the fence on this suggestion, but I do hear you and understand your frustration.
Okay think about the people who joined after the blacklist... How do you want them to get sand? Mob arena? yeah, good luck with that :P
