IGN/Team Name: jasmine476 Map Name: Temple Gamemode for Map: Infect Description of Map: To put it basicly, ever since kits got removed from infection, the humans have had a much worse time trying to survive on the temple map. I decided to change it, adding a lot of new decorations, new rooms, and make the old room (modified) for you old time players. "We do not need a temple remake for an infection map" "I would like to see this build in a different angle" "The video quality was not good" Any bias against me (Don't like me, etc) "This has been suggested before" "Zombie biased maps are NOT good maps" Any other convoluted reason you guys may think of... (To put it simply, if you think of a reason OTHER THAN "The build does not look good", please do not say no support :p) The map is still zombie biased, don't worry, it's just that the game will take slightly more time. And humans are given more of a chance. Please do not comment giving me your opinions on the build if you did NOT watch the full video CHANGELOG: 1.0 Map finished, open to suggestions.
Nice build, but no support. Too small, too many barrier blocks, many places for boosting to happen, and we already have a Temple map. Also, people can put whatever reason they want for their opinion, you can't tell them what not to reply with.
The actual temple map is bigger than this? There's only one line of barrier blocks... I just fixed all of the boost spots. Literally, most temple games are finished in less than a minute. (Also it's a remake, not a new map)
Uhh so what if we already have a Temple map? Many servers especially a server I play have what is called "revamps". It's not a new map, like she has said, it's a remake or revamp like I said. Anyway, neutral. Instead of surronding the map in blue wool, cover it in some sand dunes and then barriers at the end of these dunes. This can give you space to maybe make some small houses/huts or even tents, and the map has a more realistic barrier. Also, I'd like the barriers at 1:20 to be removed, that way humans can jump off the temple. If you're concerned about camping spots in the crevices in the walls of the exterior, patch it up with barrier blocks.
I love how the only thing I brought up with this thread is a 2 sided war of "Temple is a good map, therefore I hate this map" and "No, temple sucks, get rid of it" Literally, maps don't get accepted anymore... why do I even bother??
Me personally has been eager for new maps, it looks cool and seems to of taken a long time to build. Support :D. Maybe replace the other temple map for this?
Just to clear things up, this is a remake of an old map. If you have something to say about "We already have a temple map" or "this is a remake" or anything similar, i know. Next up... the term zombie bias means that zombies will tend to win on this map more often. If you don't think there are enough hiding spots, that's the point. Now let's talk about comments and responses. What i'm seeing for a lot of the people saying no support are those who are saying "it's too small, not enough hiding spots, etc" take a look at the old temple map, and think about your comments. I'm not trying to be rude, i'm trying to point something out here. One more thing here, for those of you commenting, if you support/no support, can you explain why? What's good about it? What should be improved? Took me 5.02 hours, just checked settings. And thanks for those who did support :D
