Hello and thank you for taking the time to read my application for moderator. My real name is Jacob but people call me Jake, either way doesn't bother me. I live in a tiny town in Victoria, Australia. I've been playing on this server for a while and I've decided again to update and apply for moderator. I want to be part of the team because I want to help people. I want to do the best I can to help the server. I hope you like my application and if you have any constructive criticism or feedback please comment it down below in detail so I know where to improve. =============================JAKEPLAYZZ============================= Your in-game name: JakePlayzz. What timezone are you in? AEDT (Australian Eastern Daylight Time). What country do you live in? Australia. What languages do you speak? English. Do you have 2FA enabled? Yes I do. I also have Skype and discord for anyone who needs to get in contact with me if this position were to become available. (Not putting them on this, ask me for them c. Do you have the necessary means of capturing evidence? (i.e. recording software, screenshots, etc) Yes I have Bandicam registered and many editing programs. Every game that I play no matter what game mode it is I record because I know there is a chance of someone doing the wrong thing and I'm there to catch them. Why do you think you should become a mod? Because I love to help people and there have been many times on the server that I have seen where a mod is needed but have never actually been there so I've tried to help as best as I can. I'm on the server a fair bit and I like to make friends on it. I asked them and they say I'm nice. I like to help and if I see something that's wrong I would stop it or help in anyway, for example there was a mad spammer on skywars and no mods on, I would /mute him for the correct punishment time. I have in the past already posted hackers on this forum many times and most have been banned. Some of my following characteristics are as seen here; Honest: I am a very honest and trustworhty person, It has taken some time for me to consider only telling the truth, but that is what I do because I feel that it gets me further in life than to lie, if I had a friend or knew of someone who was doing the wrong thing in game. I would not hesitate as a staff member to give them a firm warning or if necessary ban them because no one should have an unfair advantage over players. Easy to talk to: In the points that I listed below I mention having this quality . I am very easy to get along with and i'm very easy to talk to, I'm always up for a chat and to help as best as I can. If people have an easy question then I will answer it with no hassle and if I'm not 99% sure then I'm not afraid to ask for help from another moderator and then I would learn from that situation and better myself. Maturity: I could go onto another spiritual level about being mature since the things that I've had to deal though in my life. I have learnt to be mature not though age but though life events that don't allow immature moments to pass though. Having a joke around is fine by me and I tend to do it a lot but that's because you want to see other people smile and to be happy but I wouldn't let it get in the way of my job. Active: people might say that they never see me in game but to be honest who really looks out for a player? I play factions and skywars frequently so if you were to look for me that's where I would be. I play for an extended amount of hours on Australian times so if people are looking for me I might not be online if you are American but I do play long into the night so keep your eyes peeled . I love this server and the community and I wish to keep playing on it . Friendly: I manage to somehow always make friends even when I'm not trying too. I have made many friends that I have added on Skype and we play. I see myself as an easy to talk to person because I am always bubbly and happy and I always want to have a chat with someone if their nice to me and want to have a game. Dedication: I promise that I will put 110% into being a moderator, I will help anyone who needs it, Report anyone who may be breaking the rules, Suggest things that can make the server preform better. If I'm not online then anyone who needs my help can tell someone that would be online when I'm on and I would be very very happy to answer. Trustworthy: I am honestly one of the most trustworthy people (if you met me in real life) you would ever meet. No matter what if a player told me something that he wanted no one else to know like he was being harassed by another player that I would keep that between me and him unless I have permission to tell other moderators to watch the said harassing player. Time zone: I looked on other peoples applications (I swear to god I did not steal anyone's information) and noticed their putting down time zone. Me being in Australia helps the server because the server is American, I can be online when the American moderators are offline. How long can you be active on the server everyday? I play this server every day because I love it. I play for at least 3 hours daily but I can play for longer if given this position as I would be hopping from server to server. A list of times here: Monday: 3-5 hours Tuesday: 3-5 hours Wednesday: 1-3 hours Thursday: 3-5 hours Friday: 3-5 hours Saturday: 5+ Sunday: 5+ (Will change when the soccer (Football) Season starts). How long have you been playing Mineverse? I've been on Mineverse for at least 2 years doing some YouTube recording on it. I've applied for mod a few times but now I am really trying to get moderator. I bought the rank last year and I might be upgrading soon (I don't want me having a rank to push my chances of getting this position higher) Have you ever been banned in the past? (Forums & In-game) No I have never been banned or muted and I've been clean on the forums for my existence on them. Do you have any past experience as a moderator? Yes, I have been a moderator on 3 other servers and a helper on one other but sadly they all shut down except for one due to lack of players. That being said I do know the commands and I do understand the rules/guidelines that I will have to follow and I will not abuse them at all. Do you meet the requirements for staff? Yes, I believe that I am fit for the position and am ready to help any players who need help. Becoming more active on the forums is what I need to focus more on as well as playing more than 2 game modes. Neutral, the application is very nice but has some grammatical errors in it. Also I haven't really seen you around on forums but this may be subject to change.
No support. - You don't do consistent reports - You're not very well known (I prefer to at least hear of you by word of mouth, in-game or on forums before I support you) - You aren't active on forums at all - You should get Teamspeak 3, it's needed for staff meetings. - "Honest: I am a very honest and trustworhty" [trustworthy] - "Dedication: I promise that I will put 110% Into" [into] - "I can be on the server 3-8 hours every day" That's a very very very big range... - What gamemodes do you play? When I was last active, I never heard of you or saw you anywhere. My timezone is GMT + 8.00, shouldn't be too far from yours. Makes me doubt about how active you are.
I'm on 3-8 hours trust me its just depending if I'm working or not and I play on skywars and factions like I said but you don't look out for players but you might now. Thank you for correcting my grammar and when I do report its of hackers and their not easy to find but I do keep a sharp eye out. Also Trustworthy was spealt correctly before I edited it...
No support, sorry. Reasons stated above. Also maybe work a bit more on your application A moderator has to play most game-modes actively.
When you say work on it. Do you mean add more or work on grammar mistakes? Thank you for the reply anyway I'm sure to play on more servers in the future.

No Support. -I have never seen you in-game. (Because of timezones, but you mentioned in your application that you would go overnight. -You are AUS, which is needed. But, I believe we have enough AUS mods. -You are lacking reports, and should continue reporting. -Expand your gamemodes activity as this will be needed when you become a moderator. -Expand your activity in-game and on forums. Thank you. I feel that people are being too critical on small grammar mistakes and such. Being active on other game modes and such is fare enough and I will play on other game modes now. But thank you for the motivation.
I think you'd make a great moderator, but I would like to see you making more reports. (not only hackers, but death wishes, chat offences, harassment too) Good luck bb <3
