Mineverse is shutting down!!!! NO!!!!

There have been changes in the EULA of Mojang that server owners are not allowed to make money using minecraft. Mojang is planning on shutting down every server that makes money using minecraft without their permission. So guys, if this happens, what will we do now? Play single player?? Well, that's no fun.

It isn't happening at all.

If you look at my post above you will see that Mojang changed their minds/cleared up the EULA a bit to help people understand it better.

Servers are allowed to keep donations as long as they do not affect gameplay

ALlowed donation ideas:
-Ranks
-Cuddly Pets
-PLugin Related perks

Disallowed:
-Potions
-Anything that is already available to players.
For example, let's say a server does not allow you to have swords and they make you donate to have a sword. That would be illegal


Nothing bad is going to happen, but we might need to get rid of the mob spawner donations for skyblock, and maybe, the donation kits for kitpvp.

Mineverse does not have to shut down all what it means is mineverse will not have ranks any more

 

Do you know how much a server like this costs to run? Donations are the life-blood of MV. Without them, it is highly unlikely that Crew will be able to afford running his servers.

 

Mineverse have made a lot of money it will be able to live for a bit longer but you are right

 

I think he's made enough to support the server for at least 6 months.

 

But does that mean he will want to keep it going without money coming in? Just saying...

No one panic yet. Maybe Mojang will change their mind. If they go through with this, it's like they are shooting themselves in the foot.

How the hell are they going to keep Minecraft alive? They will lose tons of Minecraft players. Mineverse, or in Riis case, any donation-like servers won't be able to run anymore because they can't afford it. Noobcrew owns 5 servers and he can't keep them all up.
I don't think Mojang is that dumb to do that. If they go through with it, well, goodbye minecraft.

 

Donations to mineverse will probs be alond if there is no rank involved
What means you can donate money to the server but don't be expecting a rank

No I'm just saying that noob crew can't sell people rank. It he can maybe accept donations
