      0=1

      Have fun.

      A bag contains only red and blue marbles. Yasmine takes one marble at random from the bag. The probability that she takes a red marble is 1 in 5. Yasmine returns the marble to the bag and adds five more red marbles to the bag. The probability that she takes one red marble at random is now 1 in 3. How many red marbles were originally in the bag?

      x = y.
      Then x2 = xy.
      Subtract the same thing from both sides:
      x2 - y2 = xy - y2.
      Dividing by (x-y), obtain
      x + y = y.
      Since x = y, we see that
      2 y = y.
      Thus 2 = 1, since we started with y nonzero.
      Subtracting 1 from both sides,
      1 = 0.

      I'm pretty sure that's not how math works

      So if I'm following this correctly,

      x=y
      Multiply both sides by x
      x^2=xy
      Subtract y^2 on both sides
      x^2-y^2=xy-y^2
      Divide by (x-y)
      x-y=y

      so then the answer would be...

      x = 0, y ≠ 0

      I needn't solve it, for there is nothing to solve there

      so let's see...

      So if we want the probably at first, it would be 1/5 at the lowest point, so x/5x
      then if we add 5, and it turns into 1/3, we can write it as
      (x+5)/(5x+5)=1/3

      Multiply both sides by 3

      (3x+15)/5x+5) = 1

      Multiply both sides by 5x+5
      3x+15=5x+5
      2x=10
      x=5

      So then in the start there were 5 red marbles, and 20 blue ones

      That my friend, is a mystery for the ages. Not even I know the answer

      Tell me the exact answer to the unsolved theory being; P vs. NP.
      Don't tell me what it is, I know about polynomial time and non-deterministic polynomial time, I need the answer ;)

      Figure that one out :D

      Well that depends on your definition of 'inappropriate'. However I can say with a reasonable amount of faith, that if you mention sex directly in your IGN, then yes, it is inappropriate

      Why is google (or yahoo etc) answering most of these questions?
