Demote/Remove Inactive Moderators

This is just a suggestion and I believe it should be taken into consideration.


There has been a couple of Moderators in my opinion are inactive.

I believe any Moderator who has been inactive on the Forums and in game for at least 1 to 2 weeks should be demoted as they are not doing there job like they are suppose to do. I only see a select few of moderators on the Servers that are on but I don't see the inactive ones and that needs to be changed.

If we take out the inactive Mods that leaves room for new Moderators and one that will hopefully be active.


I think removing these Moderators would be good as Mineverse shouldn't be treated as garbage and if you aren't going to take out the garbage can out to be picked out then why keep the filth of it in?

I support! I think that if they have something going on, eg. a holiday, where they won't be active, they should post it as their status. But rather a lot of moderators haven't been on in quite a while. Not saying they don't do their job wrong, but new, more active moderators might make this place a little less hostile :3

Shapport~ Although I second exactly what MiningCreeper454 said about the whole status update because life gets busy sometimes.

I realize now that mods handle quite a lot privately. I take back my support. No support. Mods can handle what they do.

 

Some are dealing with real life issues but the ones who are randomly being lazy, should be demoted

I agree with this (We already kind of do this :P)
But honestly, we do not have any inactive staff members at the moment.

Some might be inactive, but most have valid reasons. Moderators are humans, we cannot be here 24/7 sacrificing our own time to help others.

 

We keep each other informed of our inactivity on our mod section, players don't see it because they don't need to know or schedules/where we are. We maintain ourselves and keep ourselves accountable to each other.

 

We each tell each other when they're inactive. If they're being lazy, that's when we demote them. We notice after a while...

 

it sort of is summer it is time to go places and see things that could be a reason just pointing that one out

Exactly, I went on a 10 day vacation, I'm now at 2.5 weeks of of training (sight inactivity during) then off to another vacation. People have lives, but we do or best, when we are unavailable the other mods cover down, vice versa.

 

To be honest, I haven't really "up" my game like I said I would, twice. Like what the other mods said, we message each other, privately, if we are gonna be inactive and we all have each other's backs. I can do get distracted from my own life and even school. Final Exams are coming up and I want to do good. I guess I should start being more active. I am not making that as a promise, I am saying that I will try to do my best.
