    Paris - The Chainsmokers
Love Me Now - John Legend
Don't Leave - Snakehips Feat. MØ

People have been doing this on skyblock, so I'm just going to copy and paste what I said there

This will be your multi-step process of getting into what I consider the best kind of music: Rock and Roll.

Step 1. Listen to the staple songs of Rock.
Here's your Hotel California, Wish You Were Here, Stairway to Heaven, Hey Jude, and some others you can probably think of off the top of your head.

Step 2. Listen to the big name bands of Rock.
You've heard big name songs, but you can now invest yourself in the bands themselves. If you have Spotify, I would recommend using it for the following bands: Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Creedence Clear Water Revival, Black Sabbath, Gun's N' Roses, Nirvana, Fleetwood Mac, The Rolling Stones, The Doors and if you are using Spotify, go ahead and click that "Related Artists" button and check out some others as well.

Step 3. Listen to the different Era's of Rock and listen to the difference.
You can now listen to the different era's of rock and listen to the change. I won't be including the 50's as I don't think I can give you a good list. A lot of these can pertain to other era's but I put them where I thought they fit well.
    I would suggest these bands
60's: Johnny Cash, The Beatles, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Simon and Garfunkel, The Beach Boys, Elvis Presley (Couldn't get him in the 50's), The Animals,
70's: Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin (Both of those 2 apply to the 60's as well), America, Creedence Clear Water Revival, Rod Stewart, Elton John, David Bowie, The Eagles, Jimi Hendrix.
80's: Gun's N Roses, Metallica, Bon Jovi, Dire Straits, Van Halen, Foreigner, Queen, and U2
90's: Blind Melon, Radiohead, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, REM, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stone Temple Pilots, Bush, Oasis, Green Day, Soundgarden,
00's: The White Stripes, Nickelback, Kings of Leon, 3 Doors Down, Audioslave, Linkin Park, Queens of the Stone Age, Foo Fighters, Velvet Revolver, The Killers.
10's: Cage The Elephant, Muse, Imagine Dragons, Hozier, Moon Taxi, The Black Keys, The Arctic Monkeys, The Alabama Shakes.

At this point you should be able to formulate a good idea of what you like. From then if you wish to continue, start a conversation with me and if you want you can also talk to people I consider well-versed in this type of music such as @Cheesy, @Scorvix, or @Syndicade

Ok, there you go! This is of course not all there is to listen to, but I think it sums up their respective time periods well.

I'm listening to Seafret for the first time and I love it, it reminds me of Kodaline
I've heard Ocean Avenue by Yellowcard and I've always liked that song so I'll listen to more
Waterparks kinda sounds like a lot of other bands so I don't know if I'll listen to them much but they're good
I like Birdy's version of Skinny Love but that's really all I've heard so I'll listen to more of her too
Love TØP and Panic!, and I've heard a few of Blink-182's songs but they all kinda sound the same to me. I do like I Miss You and First Date though
That was to imply that I like a lot of types of music, not limited to those types. So I might like your style though I'm not into Marilyn Manson
At first listen I kind of like Doja Cat and I might listen to them more
Kali Uchis sounds like Doja Cat so same thing
I see the appeal of in love with a ghost but I don't know if I'd listen to it personally
    maybe
I've heard a lot of these songs and bands but a lot of them aren't really my style even though they all fit under the same category.
I like Oasis, 3 Doors Down, Cage The Elephant, Hozier, Kings of Leon, Nickelback, Foo Fighters, Bon Jovi, Elton John, Queen, and maybe some more that you listed that I'm forgetting. I've listened to more than that but those are just the bands that I like more than one song from
Not my favored genre of music but I do like the bands that I bolded
you're right I love all of these
I like some instrumental but the two songs you suggested aren't really my style
jokes on you, I actually like that song

    ty everyone

    :haha:

Anyways, I suggest you immerse yourself in some rock/alternative.

Here's some recommendations from my personal library:
    • Pink Floyd
    • Creedence Clearwater Rival
    • Led Zeppelin
    • Rolling Stones
    • Radiohead
    • Beatles
    • Older Coldplay albums
    • Linkin Park
    • Lord Huron (I think you'd like them)
    • Red Hot Chili Peppers
    • Green Day
    • Mumford & Sons
I think @Sam suggested some of these, but whatever, lol.
