Hello everyone, this is a new gamemode suggestion. (Please suggest a name for this gamemode if you have any ideas for one) If this gamemode was implemented, when a player joins, he would be in the game's spawn, where there would be signs for buying perks (I will talk about them after) and a portal, used to join a game. After jumping in the portal, the player would be in a waiting room, the game would start after 16 players joined, and each player would spawn in the 2000 x 2000 block wide map (beyond these limits there would be a world border, impossible to go past it unless it's moving), it is just like a normal minecraft world (the map). Players would then start to survive, gather resources and prepare to fight for 30 minutes. (Difficulty would be set to Hardcore) After these 30 minutes, pvp would be activated and nether enabled. After another 30 minutes, the world border would start to go towards the center of the map/world, at a rate of one block per second. Any player going behind the border would lose 1 heart per second, before dying. The world border would stop going towards the center of the world when only 1000 x 1000 blocks wide of the map would be left. After 15 minutes in the 1000 x 1000 block wide world, all surviving players would be teleported on one of 16 islands in the sky (they all kept their inventories, and the world under would be destroyed when all players teleported, and also, the nether would disappear, killing instantly all players still inside it) the 16 islands would surround 4 bigger islands, themselves surrounding 1 bigger island) each with chests and stuff inside it. (The biggest island would also have brewing stands, enchanting tables and anvils, and the 4 other islands would have crafting tables and furnaces). After 2 minutes, the world border would reach the 16 first islands, forcing the players to go on the 4 other islands, themselves reached by the world border 2 other minutes after. Then all players would go on the biggest island at the center, and fight until only one player would be left. (The world border wouldn't reach the island at the center). Killing a player would give 1 point, winning a game 10 points, and voting 1 point, luckiest voting players would receive 2 points. (Deaths wouldn't make lose points, but pvp logging would, making lose 1 point) With points players could buy perks. 200 Points could be used to buy a permanent potion effect (only Strength I/Speed I/Haste I/Resistance I) If a player wants to change his permanent potion effect, he'd have to use 100 points to buy another, and would be given back 100 points if clicking a sign at spawn to remove his permanent potion effect. 250 Points could be used to buy an 11th and a 12th heart, and 500 Points for a 13th and a 14th heart, there would be 2 other signs at spawn, 1 to remove the 4 hearts, it would give back 375 points, and another to remove only 2 hearts, it would give back 125 points. There will also be some specific rules for this gamemode, along with the rules on all gamemodes: Teaming will result in a 1 day ban, and killing a player with lava/traps in the non-pvp first 30 minutes will result in a 3 day ban. Feel free to suggest names for this gamemode, other perks/perks prices, other rule-breaking ban time/new rules or any other thing about the gamemode. Please vote with the ratings Support/Neutral/No Support, and explain if you are neutral/not supporting. -EccentricPotato_
The last things mineverse needs is another game, they need to go and delete some first that no one plays
That's hardcore UHC. I think it would be a cool add-on since some servers got removed, now a little bit more players play on the mini-games. Support.
Neutral, As @Bexrs said, some gamemodes that people doesnt play, should get removed and get this gamemode in the place, also I think it wouldn't really be played.
I think 32 players is a good amount because I don't think a lot of players would survive through all of this Bump
No support. 32 players? Like @Amori said, 32 players for 1 game will be too much. It will not happen. Also, as this being minigame related, I doubt anyone would want to play it much. It would takes ages for people to join, and it would only be like 1 game a week. Good luck, ~Porky.
Neutral Pros: -I can see some people playing it -It seems like a pretty fun gamemode Cons: -I see some people not playing it -Will this ever even happen?
