(i.e. recording software, screenshots, etc) I have Fraps for recording. I am also able to screenshot, and if needed I have Gyazo as well for screenshotting. Why do you think you should become a mod? I have many qualities which I believe are good characteristics of a moderator: Activity: I understand activity is necessary and I believe that I am very active. I'm mainly seen on OPPVP, Survival, and Prison. I have Minechat, which also gives me the ability to get on at school if necessary. I try to flow through most of the servers every time I'm online. As for forums, I have a lot of 4G data on my phone, so I'm able to be on forums throughout the day. I check forums most mornings. Although I'm seen less on forums, I'm progressively become more of a part of the forums and will continue to do so. Knowledge of Moderating: I have previously moderated on a small 30 player server, I understand the process in which you must go through with a report, gathering evidence, banning the player, reporting the evidence etc and I'm hoping Mineverse may be the next step. I will be respectful to every player that I come into contact and treat them the way in which I would like to be treated. I will be caring about anything sensitive and take everything seriously. Thoughtful: I'm very thoughtful. I think of other players before myself. I think about all the people who need that extra help whether it's just a simple "Where is this?" or a more complex "What do I do about this issue?" regardless of the issue I will help them out then continue to what I was doing. Committed: I'm extremely committed. I've wanted this for awhile but never really felt I was mature enough and good enough to be honest. Now I believe I have a shot and I can promise that I'm going to be extremely committed to my role. A place on the staff team is an amazing opportunity and if I was to get the chance I would definitely work at my full potential and stay committed to the server as the server has helped me and been committed to making me happy. Honest: I'm Honest. I'm not going to lie to a player or a moderator. If there is something that needs the honest answer I won't hesitate to say it. Honesty is key to being a helpful person and I have that honesty. Maturity: You may think that because I am a 14-year-old boy I will be a nuisance or silly, but I can honestly say I am more mature than you think. I can handle situations that need a mature figure to deal with them. I keep my head low when it comes to arguments with other players, and try not to engage in arguments. Friendly: I know from personal experience that it can be a bit intimidating coming and asking someone for help. I know that well since I have had this issue before. I keep up a positive attitude all the time to make other people's experiences enjoyable, and I help people through PM's if someone is a little upset or need some advice/help. Non-Biased: I see people say that ranks get more attention and are trusted more than people without ranks. I, however, don't believe this is true as there are some of the nicest people I have met do not have a rank. No matter someone's rank, I will be there to help them and do what I can. I'm not going to bend the rules for friends. No matter if it's a friend, a foe or a person I'm not acquainted with, a rule breaker is a rule breaker and I won't hesitate to warn, mute or ban them according to the rule they have broken. Determination: If something goes wrong on Mineverse or real life, I'm not going to give up. I'm going to try my absolute best to resolve the issue. I am always striving to reach my full potential, and Mineverse won't be an exception. Helpful: I'm as helpful as I feel I can be. I will tackle an issue no matter how small or big with full force. I want to make sure everyone's game time will be enjoyable for them. I already answer to anyone that says hello to me. but I will still strive to make more of a conversation and be helpful to them. Trustworthy: I'm very trustworthy. I can be trusted to try my best to clear the server of rule breakers, and I can be trusted to sort out issues when they are given to me to resolve. I can be trusted with powers, and the rest of the mod team can be sure that I will not use them to my own advantage. Confidence: I'm a confident person. I won't let anything stop me from doing everything I can do to help out the situation. I will happily speak to anyone with no issue to get problems resolved and I can confidently help anyone in need that I come into contact with. If someone is doing something that breaks the rules, I am not afraid to stop them and give them the appropriate punishment. What do I want to achieve as a Moderator: What I want to achieve as a moderator is to help the community and the server reach its full potential and create a better environment for everyone playing, whether that be through banning hackers or handling chat offenses. June 16th, 2016 - AntiFall - Parkour June 16th, 2016 - Hacking - Bedwars June 28th, 2016 - Hacking - Infection This is a fair few bans for bad things, but I hope these can be set behind me as I have completely stopped and now the only mod I use is 5zig. I applied about 8 months ago then took it down, rethought about it and re-applied. As I said I am bringing myself into the forums more, As For in game I'm not sure if Timezones are different but if not it's because I'm mainly on Survival, OPPVP (catching hackers) or Prisons. Neutral. +Kind +Mature +Active -Easily gives up -Quite touchy -I'd recommend speaking in non-abbreviated language in your app to make you seem more professional and understandable I'm not sure that you'll be able to handle the hate that mods get. I've put a link to a few screenshots I've taken that make me think this.
