I don't really recommend online dating, as you can never really know who you are really dating and you can't know if you can trust them.

 

Although I fully agree, this is just something they'll have to figure out themselves. I, back when I was like 12, was told never to date young, but I did anyways and learned my lesson. This applies to minecraft dating as well.

If it bothers you in chat, utilize the /ignore command.

Online dating is perfectly fine in my opinion. It is their life so let them do as they wish. Just ignore them don't go crying like baby's about it. It's life and that's how it is going to go down for everyone sooner or later. so if you don't like it just ignore them and move on. No need to start so much drama for the littlest thing.

Let the man voice his opinion, he has the right to, and I think he said it in a rational way. People also have the right to disagree, but bashing the other person is honestly uncalled for. I can see both sides of the argument, but I believe its people's life to live and they should live it however they like.

It was more of a recommendation not to worry of dating until past high school. :p

I see both sides of it and I think online dating is completely useless unless there's real possibility of meeting each other in the future. I really don't see the point of "dating" online since you can't physically be together, which is why I'd say to just make that decision once you've met. However, I understand why people do online date and I know that occasionally a few relationships do work out. I disagree with the whole "wait until after highschool" thing simply because I know of many relationships that have lasted throughout highschool and even into college. Sure, it's unlikely that you'll stay together forever and get married, but to me the point of dating is figuring out what you're looking for and what you want. If it takes a few highschool relationships to have some fun, and to figure out what you want for yourself in the future, then I say it's not completely pointless.
