Hey Guys I've noticed the fact that Minecraft has apparantly become the next Match.com, with all the relationships I've seen over the past year. It's actually quite humorous. I, myself, have dated twice online. I used to promote distance relationships heavily before then, but now I can't advise enough against it for people in high school & below. I understand why kids date online, just as I had. It's primarily for those who haven't experienced a relationship yet & want to, and or for those who are too uncomfortable with physically dating someone. But the reality is that people our age aren't mature, nor committed enough for a relationship. High school relationships typically do not last, and especially high school relationships based online/on Minecraft. Online relationships at this age aren't only vulnerable of failure, but also could yield unneeded stress and drama. Think of it like this: could you really imagine yourself saying, "I met my husband/wife on a minecraft forums"? Now, I could care less if people date online nonetheless, since it's not my business. Good for you. But I can't recommend enough against it for those who haven't e-dated yet, or may consider doing so. Wait until after high school if you're looking for a serious relationship. Until then, don't worry of dating much.
damn people are already dating over here and i still have no friends i guess i'll have to take the chance .... anyone interested?
See the thing is, I met @Kenju 3 years ago through Minecraft and was always embarrassed to tell my friends and family about it since it was online. But now 3 years later we are living together so tbh, I encouraged online dating AS LONG AS you two are both serious about the relationship and consider staying together in the future. And if the age difference isn't so big.
Yeah.. What happened to you is pretty rare as I said. Not many people in this age group are committed or mature enough to carry out a legit relationship via online. Glad you met someone who was though :p
NOPE. I love the concept of e-dating. You get things like @Lapis(Lapis_Firestar) and @DisPxtch making a go of things ;)
Why is it that all you like to do is try to bring others down instead of worrying about yourself? Try to be more positive instead of always being negative for once then maybe you wont be crying about depression so much.
Tbh my opinion of this is just do what you think is best. As @Upsets said you need to trust someone and if you trust someone online that much then just go for it. young love is a beautiful thing. <3
Sorry you can't handle my opinion of online dating, sir. Would you possibly like a tissue, or perhaps even a joyful meme?
