No support, some people cannot rate anything, and do not wish to explain their opinion, so they have to comment "No support.".
Ummmm... make an exception for those people? Or take supports and no supports out of the rating filter
No support, mainly because when this rule came out not many would know about it, and they would probably get a bad rep from mods for breaking forum rules. When I say "support" I usually add a downside to it to see both sides of the equation, yes people do use it to post farm but when you see it plain you just think someone is post farming, or doesn't care enough to give more reasons.
No Support, players are allowed to give their opinions on suggestions what's good about the topic or what could be altered to make it better. I don't understand why you care so much if players say Support or No Support on suggestions, who cares if it gives them messages literally it's a Minecraft forums like who cares. The amount of messages or positive ratings doesn't even mean anything.
No I am not saying that. I am saying that "No Support" without any opinions is not allowed. Hmmmm why do we need moderators then? Rules? Its a minecraft forums anyway. Please elaborate
You could apply the "who cares" logic to anything and it's a terrible argument against anything. Support. Mod applications shouldn't be filled up with people saying "support/no support" without any elaboration whatsoever, because it's worthless to the applicant and to others. Someone commenting on an application should, at the very least, refer to another post if they have the same opinion as someone else (saying support/no support, reasons stated above shouldn't cut it either). Anyone that can't rate can still give more than just "support"/"no support"; they could even just add that they cannot rate. It still comes down to just increasing your post count. If someone doesn't want to give their opinion they can also just specify that. No harm done. (Although I would see no reason for someone not giving their opinion unless it was personal; situations like that would be rare.)
Support, it is not that hard to elaborate your opinion on something, and it could also help people to gather as much information to make their decision to support or not. The simple "support" or "no support" doesn't help anyone out and I do believe should be considered post farming to do so.
Your reason is invalid. @Delta changed his mind as he misunderstood the post. Please do read the whole thread if you are quoting someone else's opinion. I would suggest you to read the whole post and other's opinion including @Delta's next post.
