On Skyblock, titans have Vanish. The purpose of this is so you can use vanish for privacy and not get spammed, I'm guessing. With Vanish, it lets Titan ranks get away with anything they want, really. I'm going to show a few videos of titans doing this. This first one shows a titan standing where I'm trying to build a chest. He uses Vanish and there is no way-- even for most staff, may I note-- for people to see them. So long as they are in Vanish and flying, I can never move them from that spot. As I throw blocks on them, they pick up the blocks and throw some of them off the edge. This really shows that someone is hiding there. This second one shows me trying to stone mine. Stone mining is the most well-known way to make money on Skyblock. As I stone mine, someone, most likely the same person, is in Vanish picking up all the stone that I mine for money. I probably mined two inventories of stone that is now in this person's pocket. Vanish doesn't help titans in a legit way. It just lets them do things and never get caught. There are people that just go in Vanish and island farm for hours, getting stacks of dirt and sand. It lets people ruin the economy and other people's experience for no reason. I really do believe that no rank you can buy should ever have vanish. Multiple people will sit in the stone generator for hours, emptying their inventory, just to get some easy cash, and, as you can see, it gets very annoying. Once again, titans don't need Vanish. Nobody needs Vanish. All it does is help them abuse other people and server bugs without being caught. Titans shouldn't ever have this perk.
Support <3 Vanish can be nice to have at times, but with the advantages it can have for some people who can get away with almost anything they feel like doing I really don't think it's worth having on the server for anyone non-staff, especially if there is no way for other players or even staff members to prove who is really doing it and no way to get them off the island.
No support, I understand it could be a pain and some titans can be immature and I apologize for that. However, titan is a $250 rank, vanish is purely cosmetic on skyblock (maybe there could be a way to fix the picking up items on your island) and it is something that complies with EULA and would help titan actually be worth $250.
Support. Mods have to deal with issues like this sometimes, and it's pretty hard to resolve, especially when most Titans just claim they never did "such a thing like that".
No-support, I would suggest that we can disable vanish when visiting other islands, this way it can't be abused.
I like this idea, it means I can still hide from the spammers when I'm building. But no support for the main idea: ~Firstly, titans (along with other ranks, don't get me wrong, but I have asked people pestering me in the past if they would ask an elite/supreme/god the same thing and the answer is usually a no. Titans are also the only ones able to use /enchant) get pestered a lot by other people for free items, money, repairs and enchants then for some reason get offended when we say no? I'd really rather not get spammed with tp requests and sad faces, thanks. ~Secondly, we can use /v to record people hacking without them realising. I know I have done this on several occasions before the reset, and have heard other people doing the same thing. This doesn't make people hiding on your island okay or anything, but it does mean players who would hide their hacks from other players can still get caught when they least expect it B)I dohave examples if you want but I feel like I've typed enough for a 'no support'.
I support this To the people who don't support getting rid of /v how about instead of getting rid of /v it is altered. It keep all it's original functionalities but the only difference is you can be seen by other players that are near you. You will still be able to keep some form of privacy from the mass majority of players but it gets rid of the trolling capabilities without punishment that people with /v currently have at the moment. I also feel like the people who can fully use /v going invisible to everyone should only be mods that need it to perform certain investigation when needed. Would you at least support that?
