[Global] Muting Suggestion

Hello everyone,

I suggest that when a player gets muted, the muting time (if below 24 hours ) will count only when he is online.

Please vote with the ratings Support/Neutral/No Support and explain if you are neutral/not supporting.

Players are muted for good reasons, they just have to follow the rules.

The idea is good, but like Uncle stated above, who wants to play when they are muted?

 

^^ I once reported a player being extremely disrespectful, he was muted for 30 minutes only. He left for 1 hour, it took me 10 minutes to report him and a mod to mute him, he came back after and never knew he was muted. This is why I made this thread, thanks for replying.

 

Okay, say a player is muted for 12 hours. They are expected to play 12 hours of that one game mode just to have the ability to talk again? I understand where you're coming from but I just don't like the idea, sorry.

Support what's the point of even having the punishment if the player doesn't even know they got one or deals with any consequences?

But this only happens if the player completely disregarded a first mute which is only 30 mins to 2 hours at most. Honestly 12 hours in game isn't that much especial considering servers I play on start of with week long mutes and go to month long/ perm mutes afterwards. And there is always the appeal feature.

I'm sorry, but I can't support this. I feel it would cause a lot more hassle than good.

 

Sorry, no support. If someone can only get on for an hour a day and they have a 24 hour mute, that's over three weeks of not being able to say anything :s

There's no reason its just stupid to be muted while you're playing even if you were rude
