btw potato read my latest forum post
I love mineverse dont get me wrong so i took some time to look at the eula rules and found out why the server was backlisted
    • try to make money from anything we've made (mojang eula)
This is exactly why the server was backlisted. wake up mojang are only in it for the money and anyone else who makes profit from their game is backlisted.

If they can't record someone then why are they applying for mod.

I think the current requirements work in certain situations such as a player who is very active in game and has tons of previous staff experience on others servers but only has 50 messages on the forums deserves mod more than someone who is just on the forums but has little staff experience and doesn't play in game a lot. Though I do support the changing from 2 weeks as that is way too little time for the staff to even figure out what kind of person the applicant is. As for reports I am neutral about that as an applicant with lots of moderating experience already knows what hacks look like and such but for other cases if may be useful.

    Agreed, thanks :)
    Thank you :)
As I stated above, mods need to do reports to get supported on their applications. Also, few/none applicant was promoted while having the current requirements (50 messages, 2 weeks on forums) Don't get me wrong, I do not think players shouldn't be active in-game while applying, these are just forums requirements, every mod had the requirements, was doing reports, was active in-game and on forums before getting promoted.
    Thank you
    Bump.

Actually I had less than a thousand, was a member, and had only been on forums for about 3 months.

Sorry, but no support. Honestly I feel the requirements are fine as they are now. Cyp and Crew set them at what they are for a reason. Just because someone doesn't comment on everything shouldn't stop them from becoming a moderator. Sometimes really great mods can come from those people. If someone is a good applicant and meets the requirements set right now, I don't see a need to make them wait even longer. I feel like this will only encourage post farming honestly.

As I stated many times, few/none mods were promoted with only 50 messages and 2 weeks on the forums, and this is almost the same with the requirements suggested. I believe the applying players should get more involved with the forums community while staying active in-game by doing reports and making forums messages.
    Thank you for replying
    Thanks. :)

So being mod does make you gain a lot of posts  . I was looking at it statistically and I when I was, I didn't consider how many posts someone had before applying because I didn't have that info :p

Any suggestions? Can't just ask to change it without giving out some ideas or changes.
Also, I don't support on the 25 reports idea. Be more specific. Accepted reports? Or just reports in general? New members can easily make reports that are nowhere near valid. Another issue is that one could've made reports long ago, or did reports all in one go, then they stop completely.

Support to the change of the requirements. I'll give some of my ideas.
    • 2 months on the forums without any large amounts of inactivity.
    • 100 or perhaps 500 comments
    • 2fa is enabled
    • Must have Skype, Teamspeak optional. The staff have a chat on Skype which is used for meetings, etc. Don't know if they do it on teamspeak as well.
    • Idk, but maybe they should have a vpn??

It depends on how active you are honestly. Some mods barely gain anything, some get a lot.

So if you believe that people won't get mod with that much, why change it? Honestly crew and cyp set it where it is for a reason and I trust it where it is. I don't see a need to fix something that isn't broken, that's all I have to say.

Look, the problem at hand is way too many new people are applying, and the apps with potential (which mind you, are from active players) can't be bumped without getting them down the page after a while. The majority of new players with no potential outrules the new players with potential.

I see where you are coming from Random, but in my personal opinion, we can't allow these new players to continue on. They're wasting their time, and ours.

Support, many non-qualified applicants are around the 50 messages range and a true applicable Moderator applicant should be more active.
