Support However, I do think that the 25 reports must be accepted, and not lack of evidence. And maybe 150 messages? Otherwise, support.
Thanks :D Thank you The 25 reports are counted only if they are accepted of course, and I'll lower the post count, but to 200
Support, I agree that two months is a far more reasonable time frame in which to be a member on the forums for; I wish you the best of luck in getting this accepted :D
I feel this wouldn't make a difference honestly. People who get supported and accepted are usually those who have over 1000 posts, have been around for awhile, are very very well-known, and have made several successful reports. Does it necessary hurt for someone with 50 posts to apply? Chances are they don't match the criteria to even get accepted (in a statistical anyway). The same applies for having 200 posts, that is still not enough posts statistically to become a mod. I'm neutral because I don't this will make a huge difference.
Thanks :D Thank you If you think so, wouldn't you prefer that the post count requirement be higher? Thanks for the input. Thanks
I do think the requirements should be tougher however as for the reports requirement, this would be very difficult to measure so I'm not sure on that but otherwise you've got my support on this one. One little note though, 2 months and 200 messages seems a bit steep? maybe 1 month and 100 posts? eh ... Just my personal opinion.
Thanks for the support, but the report requirement is actually easy to measure, we can go on an applying member's profile, click "information", then "all threads by this member" then we can scroll down to check the amount of reports he made. And for the other requirements, as I stated in the thread, few/none members were promoted to mod even after reaching 200 messages and 2 months registered on forums. Thank you for the input
Neutral, maybe the player had achieved all these requirements, but it is sorta a struggle for them to record people? I mean, reporting shouldn't really be a requirement. Reporting is helping mineverse & helps mod do their jobs.
I'm not sure changing the moderator application requirements would make less spam, did you post on the wrong thread? Thanks I guess Thanks for the input, but I think reports should be a moderator application requirement since applying players must do reports, I've seen dozens of moderator applications not supported because the applying player wasn't doing reports Bump
