So, there are so many hackers on every game-mode i'm sure everyone has noticed, lol so you can record as much hackers as you want but it won't change anything. They keep getting on alts after alts to continue to hack, As every-time i report someone they get on another alts, and start texting me there other username that they just got banned on 10 minutes ago after i reported them. So what i'm trying to say is can they be ip banned or something so they cannot get on other alts, for that game-mode even though they can use a vpn, some of them most probably don't know how to use a vpn, so i think this would cut back a bit of the hackers coming back on with alts. Alt generators - I'm sure all the hackers have one.
No Support -Other people who share the same Ip would get banned. (Siblings, etc) -They could easily get a Vpn and come back on the server
As i said most of them don't know how to use a vpn.. Siblings well there's nothing you can do they can appeal... and the other sibling can tell the other sibling why they got banned. @Herf Thank you.
Well, they shouldn't be punished really, but it's the only way we can stop most of these hackers it's unbelievable how much hackers there are.
Thank you guys <3 This is the only way i can think of that's going to stop the hackers there getting out of hand.
I mean if they can type in "Ghost Clients" then they would be able to type "How to get unban from a server"
Support, about the sibling problem, most hackers are trolling and probably won't have their siblings playing Mineverse. About the vpn, same thing, I doubt hackers/trollers would go through the trouble to set that up. And why not set it up anyway? Even if they can bypass with vpn, ip bans would do more good than bad.
To be honest, I'm not sure what to think about this. From an ex-Mod perspective, I personally feel like it was really frustrating, especially when there was a hacker which used VPNs and used mcleaks or something like that, essentially an alt generator. *NOTE: To all of you, DO NOT use alt generators. They are not safe and may have viruses.* The only thing we could do was keep on manually banning the alts when we saw them hacking. Nothing else we could do. (Except for putting in requests for permanent ban). However, there are downsides too. -> Siblings playing. I have a brother and I used to use a hacked client on Minecraft, and during that time, he was also playing Minecraft. I never thought twice about using a hacked client like that. I have now stopped (obviously), but hackers sometimes don't even bother to think about the results. ^ To counter this, when the player ban appeals for a sibling with the same IP who was "caught ban evading", they'd have to prove some way that they are using different accounts, which is usually a troublesome and tricky situation to deal with. I have met such instances, and it's really hard to clear up, usually ending with the ban appeal getting denied though. This is just my main opinion, I don't really have a neutral, support or no support rating to give this. It's a debatable idea though.
