Forums Forum Staff members.

I propose we have forum staff members that are separate from the in-game staff members. Much like the staff you have on teamspeak or Dubtrack.

Moderators will still handle forum things, but forum staff can handle things like forum reports and leave in-game staff time to handle in-game reports and ban appeals.

 

Support, moderators could then be more active in-game.

 

That is actually a pretty good idea.

 

If we had forums only staff members then if a player came to the forums looking for help then they would find a bunch of people who could'nt actually help them.

Also .... If they were forums staff they couldnt handle reports, Appeals, anything relating to ingame stuff.

So what would a forums staff member actually do?
Have a fancy tag.


There is a reason that we don't have them, as much as I admire you thinking of suggestions for the server this one hasnt been thought out quite as much as it needs to have been.

 

EDIT: They could also handle Forum unban appeals and forum punishments.

I know there are forum appeals as I filled one out once.

 

Sr Mods and Head Mods are able to handle those, and are quite sufficient at doing so.

There is no need for forum moderators, there is relatively little work to be done on the forums compared to in game.
