Today, we will be discussing the infamous EULA compliance along with changes that need to be made to comply to the EULA. I will also be discussing changes to improve the server such as new game modes, new maps, bug fixes, etc. So, without further a du, let us begin the suggestion. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ §░░░░EULA Compliant░░░§ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ If you did not know, the server is blacklisted for breaking the EULA. A bit of background information would explain the reason. Back in…Whenever multiplayer hit, the EULA was introduced. Players had to agree to the EULA to make a server. One of these rules that most servers break is, ”Can I sell “kits” for hard currency if I provide a balanced alternative for non-paying users? If the “kits” contain gameplay-affecting features they are not allowed. Gameplay balance is not relevant to the EULA. If the items included in the kit are purely cosmetic, you can charge real money/hard currency.” So, essentially we cannot sell ranks that give out kits that affect the gameplay of the server. Which means all the donor ranks that Mineverse has, is against the rules. So, how do we fix this? Well, there’s multiple ways to do it. The Ranks. I really want to go indev with how the ranks should work because most ideas are short explained and rather quick thinking ideas for a long term change. This is what I’m thinking: -All Ranks are no longer sellable (remove them all from the shop) -You can obtain all ranks via the lobby (/shop and it will bring up a list of ranks) -You can purchase the ranks via “Mineverse Crystals” -You earn “Mineverse Crystals” (Nether Stars) by trading in-game currency from around the server, say kitpvp or OpPvP for the crystals. KitPvP - 1000$ = 1 “Mineverse Crystal” OpPvP - 1000$ = 1 “Mineverse Crystal” ArcherPvP - 1000$ = 1 “Mineverse Crystal” Factions - 10000$ = 1 “Mineverse Crystal” OpFactions – 100000$ = 1 “Mineverse Crystal” Prison – 100000$ = 1 “Mineverse Crystal” OpPrison – 1000000$ = 1 “Mineverse Crystal” Survival – 1000000$ = 1 “Mineverse Crystal” Infection – 1000 XP levels = 1 “Mineverse Crystal” Skyblock – 1000000$ = 1 “Mineverse Crystal” Skywars – 1000000$ = 1 “Mineverse Crystal” GTA – 1000000$ = 1 “Mineverse Crystal” (Other servers are subject to change and/or be added to the list. The prices are also subject to change” -All perks for all ranks (Except for God and Titan) will stay the same. -To convert currency from a game mode to Lobby currency, simply type, “/Transfer <Gamemode> $$$” For example, /transfer KitPvP 1000 will yield 1 Mineverse Crystal. -The prices for each rank (Except for God and Titan): Premium – 10 “Mineverse Crystals” Sponsor – 20 “Mineverse Crystals” VIP – 40 “Mineverse Crystals” MVP – 50 “Mineverse Crystals” Elite – 80 “Mineverse Crystals” Supreme – 110 “Mineverse Crystals” (Prices are subject to change) -The Donation store will have a “Donate” button allowing users to donate how much as they want. Example: I want to donate a dollar, I click the “Donate” button and I donate the exact amount I wish to donate to the server. -All perks concerning the God and Titan ranks will be removed and replaced with new perks: God: -In-game Title next to IGN. -On-Forums Title below name -Free VIP rank on Teamspeak -Custom Cosmetic Items for God rank which include: Blue colored leather armor set for all game modes via (/kit God). Cooldown of 24 hours. -Access to /Nick <Name>. Example: /Nick Rlxtreme will execute the command and replace my IGN with Rlxtreme (Note: You can check their real names via, /Who Rlxtreme and it will show their Nickname and IGN). -Access to /XP boost which increases the XP earned by everything for 1 minute (Cooldown of 24 hours). This effects all players on the gamemode and is available to all servers that can earn XP levels. -Cost: 100$ (all perks subject to change) Titan: -All perks from God transferred to Titan. -Custom Items: Green colored leather armor. -Cost: 250$ -Cooldown for the /XP boost is decreased to 12 hours and the time is increased to 3 minutes. (Perks subject to change) ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ §░░░░Gamemode Updates ░░░§ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Kitpvp -Kitpvp1 map removed and replaced with a better version of the map in Kitpvp2 -All splash potions removed from kits and all unnecessary items -All useless kits removed -Kitpvp2 removed and replace it with kitpvp1 Notes: The reason why I decided to suggest this is simply the Kitpvp community is split in two. The people who are in kitpvp1 and 2. If we were to say combine the two versions together and restore the community as one again, we would see a better community there. Plus, kitpvp 1 was meant to comply to the EULA, with the suggests above, there’s no need to remove kits, thus kitpvp2 would need updating as well. Its just better for everyone involved to have just one server. Also, from what I’ve seen people don’t like the new map and would rather go back to the old map. My suggestion does comply to both sides of the community. Those who didn’t like the old map would see a better version of it, as well as the people who did like it would still see the old map in a better version. Infection -Bows for zombies fixed. -More maps and a better rotation of maps. Minigames -Bring back bedwars, but a better fixed version of it. -Give everyone a instant join option (Click the “Join now” Block in the menu and it will auto join you to the first nearly full server. Creative -Add a Plot chat. Players who join the gamemode will automatically join their plot chat and must type /Chat Global to join the Global chat. -Replace the regular chat with “Global” chat. All players in “Global” chat will see the chat, but need to join it to chat in “Global” chat. -Add water and lava back to Creative, but limit the amount of water/lava placed. Say, 25-50 blocks only allowed per plot (blocks with flowing water count, not just water sources). -The water/lava rule applies to both redstone and redstome items. Say 50 redstone items (all items that give out a redstone signal) per plot. -God nor Titan do not get extra plots to comply with the EULA (Side note). (New Gamemode) Lava Survival Notes: Lava survival is a simple minigame similar to Infection. The goal is to be the last or one of the last survivors at the end of each round. When the round starts you have simply 3 minutes to find a spot on the map (Maps are 50x50) and survive 5 minutes of lava flowing. Please note, lava will break all blocks, however certain blocks have certain times before they break. Dirt – 3 seconds before it breaks Cobblestone – 1 second before it breaks (all time is real time, not tick speed time) Stone – 3 seconds Gravel – 3 seconds Obsidian – 10 seconds Netherrack – 5 seconds Wood – 3 seconds Wood Planks – 1 second All other blocks are 3 seconds. All items are 1 second (flowers, banners, doors, etc.) Additional notes: Each player will be in adventure mode and will be assigned a limited number of blocks to place. Please note, you cannot destroy any blocks placed without a pickaxe. You can break all blocks to prevent players from sabotaging you with a pickaxe which all players have. The standard kit: 5 wood planks 5 cobblestone 5 dirt 5 gravel 1 Iron pickaxe Premium kit: 10 wood planks 10 cobblestone 10 dirt 10 gravel 1 Iron pickaxe Sponsor Kit: 15 wood planks 15 cobblestone 15 dirt 15 gravel 1 Iron Pickaxe VIP Kit: 20 wood planks 20 cobblestone 20 dirt 20 gravel 1 Iron Pickaxe MVP Kit: 20 Wood planks 20 Cobblestone 20 dirt 20 gravel 5 netherrack 5 obsidian 1 rose (throwback to one of the items you have in your inventory back in Lava Survival of Classic Minecraft Servers) 1 Iron Pickaxe Supreme Kit: 20 Wood Planks 20 Cobblestone 20 dirt 20 gravel 10 netherrack 10 obsidian 1 rose 1 Supreme block (block of diamond) which breaks after 15 seconds. (All kits subject to change) Specials for God and Titan: If the last or one of the survivors is a God or Titan, all players will be teleported to a spot and watch a celebration moment. You see a winner celebration screen for that player or group of survivors. This only applies if the number of survivors is less than 10. The God winner moment will feature the player or group of players on a mountain surviving the lava and watching all the other players burn in the lava. The words, “Winners!” Will be features above the players on the mountain. The Titan winner moment will feature the players or player in a room watching through a glass window as the other players who died that round die in lava in the moment along with the “winners” title above the survivor(s). ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ §░░░░Other Changes ░░░§ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Staff Changes (New Rank) Administrator (In-game) Notes: After 12 months of being a Senior Moderator, the user has the choice of being the following: Forums Administrator, Staff Administrator (or Staff manager), and In-game Administrator. Of course, the player must have met the requirements for the ranks, but generally the rules are, be a senior mod for 12 months and be an active moderator. Features: -Access to editing and removing items to maps (must log all changes) -Handles in-game bug reports. -Handles In-game Rank issues (if a player lost a rank and provided evidence of such rank) -Handles additions to the server In-game (Example: Adding a map that was accepted by the staff) -Is responsible for accepting/declining suggestions that are for the server in-game (maps, additions, items, etc.) -Cannot ban or mute players, but can kick if needed. Rules: If there is a change to the server in-game and it is not logged on the forums, that admin is suspended for 1 month and until the change is logged. All drastic changes, such as a new map in kitpvp or a new map for prison is added, must be agreed upon by Cypriot and/or the staff. If not approved and still added by the admin, punishment will be removal of rank. All other rules apply. Senior Moderators New Features: -/Vanish command for Senior Moderators. The command performs like usual, except all other staff can see the moderator in the player list (hit and hold tab for the list) in the “Vanished” section of the list. The moderator once /vanish is executed will be in gamemode 3 and cannot edit blocks or add blocks, preventing them from adding anything to their inventory of fighting while in vanish. Vanish will be logged by a plugin the staff can build for detecting when a Moderator executes /vanish and when they /vanish again to disable it. If a staff member reports a moderator of using it, then Cypriot could check the log to see if the staff member was abusing /vanish. Additional Notes: Like I’ve stated before in a previous thread, if Titans can have /vanish, how come moderators do? Also, If we believe they will abuse in standard /vanish circumstances, then why do we give them /god and /fly because both /god and /fly are as abusable as /vanish. Forum Changes -[Global] title added to the Forums suggestion list. Every time you go to make a suggestion you can now add the [Global] prefix to the suggestion instead of having to clarify it being a [global] suggestion within the thread. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ §░░░░Version ░░░§ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ 1.11 Update Notes: While, I do not like certain things such as the hit detection for 1.9, it has gotten better since 1.11 came out. While it’s not the best, it’s getting better. Now, why should we update? Well… -Shulker Block The shulker block can basically a transportable chest that can stack and allow the player to have basically a mobile base and carry up to more than 10k blocks at a time. -Magma Block The magma block is a block of magma and whenever a player stands on it, it will burn them. It does not burn mobs but will not burn the player if shifting (I do believe they changed it to them burning if shifting, not sure on that yet). Very useful for an outer defense of a base when combating players or simply an epic decorative block. -Purpur block Purple weird blocks, cool décor block. -Elytra The Elytra is a fancy gliding tool used for exploration and simply a good way to get out of a fight. It eventually breaks so make sure to have unbreak and mending on it (with plenty of XP lvls as well). -Mending Enchantment The mending enchantment simply repairs items with XP levels. -Totem of Undying The Totem of undying saves the player from death when in use. The player after the totem is used receives a health increase and regeneration increase for a short time. A good way to come back from a fight and finish the enemy off. -And so much more Gamemodes that aren’t as heavily based on PvP could receive this update such as Skyblock, SkyGrid, Survival, and heck even OpPrison. As for the PVP gamemodes, I would test the PvE gamemodes first to see the community’s reception of the update before implementing it into the PvP gamemodes. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ §░░░░Q&A░░░§ ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ஜ۩۞۩ஜ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Question: Will all in-game ranks have their own kits? Answer: Yes, they will have the same kits/perks that they had previously. Question: Will God/Titan have the ability to have access to a in-game kit? Answer: They will have a choice to either downgrade to Supreme and receive the Supreme perks or stay as a God/Titan and receive that rank's perks. Question: How will people gain access to more plots on Creative? Answer: Most ranks previously had access to more than one plot. All in-game ranks will give the player more plots as they were stated before the changes. Example: MVP gives the player 2 plots at this time, this will be the same after the update. Question: Will previous rank owners keep their ranks after the update? Answer: Yes, everyone who bought a rank before will keep their ranks.
Honestly, the ideas aren't even terrible, but of course they'd need to be altered a lot. Titan should remain at $250, and other items be added (Cosmetics, of course). Maybe shorter cooldowns? If it goes ahead, most prices you've racked up will have to change, too. Overall, I support the ideas stated, most are very good and would indeed comply. As long as things are changed, price wise, then maybe we'll see something like this in the future.
Just to be sure. You want to remove all ranks except God and Titan from the buycraft shop. Premium to Supreme will no longer be buyable with real money, but buyable with in-game currency. The ranks from Premium to Supreme get a special kit for each rank. Right? Would someone with God/Titan then have to buy a rank with in-game currency to get a kit as well? I support most of your ideas, although I don't think a plot on creative would be too game-changing. Since you're suggesting to remove the extra plots a ranked person gets, how will people get more plots? There isn't really a currency on Creative ._.
Thank you everyone for the support. Correct. All Ranks from Premium to Supreme are removed from the buycraft shop on the forums. This allows them to just be a in-game rank and comply to the EULA. they will have the same kits/perks they have right now. As for the God/Titan question...I want to say for the best interest of being fair that they will be given a choice to either downgrade to Supreme or stay as a Titan/God for fairness sake. So essentially they can either choose a free in-game rank or stay the same rank they have at this moment. For the plot part, I do believe ranks below God can have more than one plot. At the moment a MVP such as myself can have up to 2 plots, so people can still earn more than 1 plot through in-game ranks. Thanks for the support. Yeah most of the prices are subject to change, I will change Titan back to 250$ mainly because I wanted to stay the same prices with the Titan/God and I just didn't look at the exact price for titan. I'm thinking Titan would be able to increase the time for the XP boost to 3 minutes rather than 1 minute as a God. Also the cooldown should probably be lowered to 12 hours rather than 24, although that's still a lot of time, you'd have quite a few Gods and Titans on doing it so it depends. I'll put the changes in and if you or anyone else have any suggestions to what the prices should be, let me know in the comments below, thanks.
Support for all except maybe 1.11 for pvp because not only hit detection and hit delay is changed, but there is something weird with the bow trajectory. Also what will happen to everyone who already has a rank? Refunds or nah?
Thanks for the support, as for the 1.11, I suggested we should test it for PvE gamemodes such as creative, survival, or skyblock and see how it works with the community. For the Ranks, All players will keep their ranks, no refunds will be given. Of course as I said if you wish to convert your rank as a God/Titan to Supreme you are welcome to as well.
Support for all except 1.11. It would be nice on severs such as sky block but it would be horrid for factions. Making 1.8 cannons this lag sever is hard enough as it is. If anything factions should downgrade to 1.7.10.
Thanks for the support and like I said it would be best to test it and put it on servers that don't really rely on PvP such as Skyblock or Creative and see how the community likes it. Thank you for the support and if you were to give a reason for not liking 1.11 and the /nick what would it be?

The problem with lowering these exchange rates and by doing that no one would consider donating anymore. Another problem with this is if someone finds a dupe on a certain game mode they will abuse the heck out of it and that will end up with a lot of players getting titan unfairly.
The argument I have here is that we need to have a fair system. With the exchange, ranks, and donations in mind, my system would allow people to freely donate with no rewards provided. Of course the donation ranks such as God and Titan would exist, but they would be cosmetic items only. I don't believe people wouldn't buy it based off of the perks I suggested, merely the price is the issue. I do believe the prices for Titan and God are too high for the perks I suggested and more perks need to be added to make them worth while. However, I was struggling to find original perks that don't just steal from other servers. As for the exchange rates for currency to currency in-game, I do believe it is about even. While It is very high, its not unreachable. Of course it would take time to grind for the resources whether they be Infection, Skyblock, or even Kitpvp, they would be possible to grind. Of course it is a very high price, but I feel lowering it to a reasonable price that everyone could get easily is a bit unfair to the server. The main issue there is you would only need to spend say a few hours to get ranks instead of a few days or even weeks playing actively on the server. Which is why I put it up so high for Supreme and MVP so that people would actually have to play the game in order to get the crystals to buy the in-game ranks. Yes, dupes are a issue, but I do believe most duping problems have been found or are being fixed at this moment and by the time this update is even installed I believe the duping issues will be gone. I do thank you for the information and all of that, however I do believe there aren't as many issues with my ideas versus other proposed solutions to the problem.
