OK so first off I want to start off by saying this has nothing to do about insulting role-plays, but I thought this idea could be worth making into reality. (Reality in the game of course) Anyways, it has come to my attention that many of the chat in creative has to do with role-plays. Don't get me wrong, rps are great, but the constant advertising of rps can get a tad annoying. That's where my idea comes in, I think there should be an role-play menu in creative. Let me explain a little bit more to make it less confusing, I think there could be an role-play menu kind of like the friends menu. It would be easier for people to access it, say the first thing on there would be like a skull image that said something like "role-plays accepting new players" When a player clicked on this they could see the variety of role-plays that people have set up with simple commands that wouldn't be too hard for other's to figure our how to use. For example the person setting up the role-play would write a explanatory, but short book that would be accessible to through the role-play menu. The books would most likely have a description of what the role-play is about (aka the setting), the characters, and how some of the character's emotions and personalities are like also how many players are left for the role-play to start. This idea, while hard to create would create a better chat environment that would have less advertisements about role-plays. Also during the role-play the only people who can see your chat is the people in the role-play, and if a player wanted to quit, they could simply use a command like /rp leave (/role-play leave), without making the whole role-play be disbanded. And if the owner wanted to cancel the role-play they could simply use a command such as /rp disband. I know that the commands for this mag be harder for newer role-play creators, but I believe with this role-play system idea it would be much easier for fellow role-players to view the open and available role-plays. Thank you for reading this thread, if you don't support this idea please explain why.
Neutral. It may be helpful but I'm confident that a lot of people would still advertise their role-plays.
Ya I just hope it would decrease at-least 20%+ in the chat advertising of the role-play. If it did 20%, it would be almost exactly like the chat filter in game! Only filters 20%!
