Quote: From Plug.Dj "Join an existing community, or create your own community based around common interests and musical tastes. Put together the perfect playlist, make new friends, and then take turns playing music and videos with each other. Whoever DJs before you might inspire your next song, and you can discuss musical influences in our live chat. If you discover a new track that you like, you can ‘Woot!’ it to start dancing, or even grab it to add to your playlists. Pick an avatar that fits your personality, and you’re ready to make new friends and listen to music!" I could quote it like that, but I want to simplify and make it understandable for all of you. Plug.Dj is a website that allows people to connect through music. You can create a room in which people can socialise. People can create their own playlist and put songs into their playlist and can choose to be in DJ queue and get the chance to share their songs with the room's audience. There's a chat which you can communicate to each other and there's also avatar customisation which you can change your look in plug.dj. It's a fun website which is very user friendly. The best part? It's free and better then dubtrack! In my opinion and many others may agree Plug.Dj is better then Dubtrack all around and would just make more sense. Events could take place on certain days and the prizes could be something like "a 10 dollars store voucher" or something to that extent. Plug.Dj is also staff friendly with useful extensions like RCS (i.e Radiant DJ) Feel free to leave your opinion and why you support it or why you do not support the idea of having a Plug.Dj instead of a Dubtrack for the server.
Well Dubtrack was originally made from what I heard to replace Plug.Dj when it shutdown back in 2015 but my point is since Plug.Dj is back I thought I'd suggest the idea to have a plug.dj instead of the dubtrack. We could have both a Dubtrack and a Plug.Dj not saying it's impossible but it would make more sense to have one or the other and Dubtrack is just a undergraded version of Plug.Dj at least that's how I see it. You could check out a Plug.Dj community and see if you like it or not, it's quite nice. Thanks for taking the time to read it! *sarcasm* ty for the support
I like dubtrack, I'm scared of change and I'm too lazy to make new playlists. Sorry, no support I don't mean to sound grumpy :d
Salted caramel though ;3; (is it me or are we moving off topic? I uhh... Listened to a cool song on dubtrack about salted caramel; you wouldn't have been able to listen to something as hip and trendy as that on plug.dj...)
Considering most of the dubtrack community as a whole left to rejoin Plug.dj, I'd support this. OF course its very simplistic and slightly better than dubtrack in the ways of costuming your user. From what I recall before DJ.Plugin shut down it was better than dubtrack, then when it did go down dubtrack became super popular until dj.plugin came back. If you look at the numbers its shown that more people (inlcuding the dubstep and nightcore communities) are playing music on dj.plugin rather than dubtrack.
Then you shouldn't even have a reason to comment on this thread. No support. I've used plug.dj before and I think it's too tacky and complex. Dubtrack has a fluent, easy-to-use UI and I don't think we need to convert to plug.dj just because it has more content.
