EUR Quertiss' Moderator Application

Introduction:
So, many of you may have expected this, others didn’t foresee this at all. However, welcome to my mod application. My in-game name is Quertiss and I’m currently // years old. I have been playing on Mineverse since 2013 and I absolutely adore it! One of my friends showed me the server, and I can remember immediately falling in love with one of the mini-games, infection. Afterwards I started to get hooked on the other game modes, such as OP PvP and Kit PvP. I’ve wanted to be a moderator, and make the server even better than it already is. However, I never thought I would go for it.

After a lot of support and encouragement from my friends, I am now confident with my application.

Your in-game name?
My in-game name is Quertiss and I am not planning to change it soon. My past names have been trybots, Mr_Nameless and MrBibalyBob.

What timezone are you in?
My timezone is UTC+1, meaning I am often online at the busiest times.

What country do you live in?
I currently live in . I don’t plan on moving.

What languages do you speak?
I’m learning several languages. I started to learn German and Spanish at the beginning of this academic year. This is my fifth year of speaking English, and my seventh of speaking French. Dutch is my mother tongue.

Do you have 2FA enabled?
Yes.

Do you have the necessary means of capturing evidence?
Yes, I have bandicam and I can post videos swiftly on the forums. I can also take screenshots.

Have you ever been banned in game?
I have been banned for hacking twice when I first started. One of them was a false ban. The other one was an accident from a mod. I have also been warned by a mod twice, one for bypassing filter, as someone was being mean to my friend, and the other for profanity. I have never been banned on the forums.

Why do you think you should become moderator?

· Mature
Everyone is immature at times, even the most serious people, which is not a problem. I love messing around with my friends and having fun, however I know when it is necessary to stop messing around and easily record hacker or any rule-breaker. I can be very mature about a situation.

· Patient
Yes, many people have told me that I am extremely patient. I think this is one major aspect of being a moderator, the worst thing that could happen would be a mod to loose his or her temper and flip out at someone for nothing, I would never let that happen.

· Active
I am very active on the server. Since the start of 2016, I have had less homework, meaning I can spend more time on the server.

· Efficient
I am very efficient at recording rule-breakers and posting it on the forums. I would say that everyday, I record around ten rule-breakers. Please feel at ease to check the archives.

· Unbiased
I’m highly unbiased and ask this upon people on infection. On the map ‘Nuketown’ there are some boosting spots and it doesn’t really matter who’s trying to boost, teammates or not, I will make sure they don’t do it again. Boosting is cheating and I don’t like cheaters.

· Enthusiastic
I would say that nothing could ruin my mood; I know that I am always in the spirit to help anyone. People will feel more at ease to ask for help from an enthusiastic mod, than a mod that is in an unhappy state.

· Friendly
I think I am very friendly to people. It's hard to name anyone who dislikes me, and I cannot name anyone who I dislike.

· Dedicated
I am very dedicated to the server; I always play us much as I can. Unless I was asleep, you would probably be able to find me on the server.

· Respectful
I try my best to be as respectful as possible. I certainly think that we are all equal, whether we have purchased a rank or not.

· Helpful
I absolutely love helping those on the server. Whether it is to stop a rule-breaker, or help out a new player on the server, I am here to help.

· Forgiving
I also think that this is a necessity to being a mod, you need to be able to forgive those who broke rules. The only reason that mistakes exist is to learn from the mistakes you made.

How long can you be on the server every day?
It depends on the amount of homework I get. Usually I am online for over an hour. In the weekend I am online a little longer. This can vary in the school break, if I go on vacation.

Do you have any past experience as moderator?
No, but I am friends with many mods, and I understand how they do their job. Of course I'll be happy to learn.

Do you have a 50 post count?
Yes

Do you have Two Factor Authentication set up?
Yes

Have you had 2 weeks registered on the Mineverse forums?
Yes

Do you have Skype or Teamspeak 3 for offline communication?
I have both, but my microphone is broken. I’m planning to buy a headset, hopefully during New Year.

Sorry bud, but no support. You're a nice guy. Don't get me wrong on that. However I haven't seen any traits from you as a moderator. There's a group of people who I believe should just stay players rather than being a moderator. You're one of them.
