Because of this hit registration being able to click faster is useless. If he wants a 1.9 server maybe he should find another server. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I don't get this 3rd person sentence here. Are you implying that the community likes auto clicking and would not even support such a thing as 1.9 that gets rid of auto clicking? While yes, I have moved on to singelplayer, I would happily come back to play more if 1.9 was added. No need to yell, I can read just fine. Well, if its a hacked client, whats the big deal? We don't allow hacked clients and if a hacked client tries to make macros OP on 1.9 then we don't allow it. You could argue 1.9 solves nothing, but it does help with the auto attacks that we have in 1.7 and 1.8. Auto attacks using macros would be useless in 1.9 along with hacked clients you could tell if someone is trying to use a hacked client as a way to get faster hits. As I explained in the suggestion, 1.9 would get rid of auto attacking in general for if you attack faster than the cooldown, it resets. As for the auto mining, well if you find someone auto mining, you record/report them.
I never said anything about auto clicking? As I said the ability to click faster and actually pvp without this "hit cooldown" is what most people search for and with the new update mineverse would probably lose more players and that is something they don't need. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Half the pvp community left when we updated to 1.8 as it is. Statistically speaking we are losing members monthly. If we want to pull in the new crowd of people that want to see a server with the new updates, we will have to update to 1.9+. Now, we could leave kitpvp2 and maybe have Oppvp2 as a OPPvP server with 1.8 pvp mechanics, but we need to start appealing to the newer crowd that wants the new updates rather than the old crowd that is slowly dying out. I mean, if people wanted the new update, why are we dying? Obviously the old community is dying out as I said and I don't see too many people searching more for the old updates rather than the new updates. I could be wrong here.
This is pointless, Trying to reason with you is impossible. Clearly you don't pvp because all you do is play single player but people that actually pvp would disagree. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The hits on 1.8 are worse than 1.7 but you are supporting an update that would make the hit registration 30 times worse? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I did PvP back in the day when 1.9 wasn't out. I enjoy cooldowns rather than a spam hit + jump = win combat system. I like a system that has strategy and takes practice to get right. While I do know the hit detection is bad I do expect them to work on the detection rate to be better in the future, but by that time we would actually have this suggestion accepted as well. I'd imagine the combat system hit detection will get better over time, but for now its a give and take. You give hit detection for the time being and you take the benefits such as the new blocks and mobs from 1.9 and above. Then why do so many people complain about how 1.8's hit detection is bad?
It keeps getting worse, the updates are more and more useless for pvp over time. Pvp takes skill, there is always a way to strategize and this is a lazier version of pvp. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I wouldn't call it lazy more like adapting to the style of pvp from MMOs. Which ironically people are fine with in MMOs which are cooldowns on attacks. While I will agree the hit detection is bad, it most likely will get better overtime. Like I suggested we could add game modes with 1.8 pvp combat systems in them.
