Server down-graded their host?

My ping is really bad now, what happened? I don't know if I want to play the server anymore with this crap.

I just want to know what the cause of my horrible ping is. Some others on the server said they had lag, too. So I assumed that it wasn't on my end.

 

*claps* ever since 2013, people have lagged on this server, you want a golden medal for finding this very unknown lag spike out?

 

I get that servers can be in different places but i wished mineverse had a better running system ( a way stronger one ) to make our play-time good and fast (no lag)

 

I've been lagging too.

 

I don't even go on MV that much and when I do the lag isn't unbearable like you guys say it is

I stated where the server is hosted, Phoenix Arizona.

Why is it laggy? Idfk maybe the memory? It's got unused gamemodes? Gamemodes that take A LOT of memory (I run a server) and don't say I don't know how much memory stuff will take, cuz I do.

You lagging on MC isn't the "Server" it's your pc, don't come up saying "oh I got some beefy $2000 pc I bought off my mothers cc" cuz I really don't care about your pc, I could go on a alt on mineverse rn with my $20 laptop and not lag one bit, you just need a better net and a better pc.

If I see another one of these threads, I will livestream me drinking bleach.

Optifine doesn't touch ping, it's a smooth FPS mod that allows you to edit the quality, performance and animations of your game to run it as smooth as you can.

Wanna know what helps ping? Getting a better net.

 

If you've seen my videos, you'd know I use optifine 24/7, it smoothes my fps, my ping is to do with my net.

 

Optifine has no control over ping. Ping is based off internet, FPS is based on performance.

Must be your side, as I'm fine on all of the servers except one of the lobbies, which is always pingy...
