I don't care if someone else made a different thread. I'm making this, and posting a different thread as your comment is useless and does nothing to change anything. Don't waste my time or your time. As of now (I believe), only mods have access to /mail. This is because they have to warn players when they are offline so the person can see it when if they log on. This is unfair. Players should have access to /mail, too. Why, though? What if your base got raided on factions? Or you were griefed on survival? What if you had a friend who did not know you will not be available on Friday because of a family gathering? There's really no way of letting them know. You could leave a sign, they might not see it. Skype messages would have no use if the person didn't HAVE Skype, wouldn't it? Some people don't check forums often either or don't have it. Many people prefer going online to hear about news. Right when they log on, they could see your message and understand immediately if you couldn't make it or if there was important news for them to know. This would be very helpful and useful. What about the downfalls? People could be sending inappropriate messages or bullying someone via /mail. This is why I propose that mods should be able to view all mails sent to each other. They wouldn't get majorly spammed, unless there's that one idiot kid who keeps sending their friend 15 mails every 4 minutes. So maybe there should also be a cap on mails to prevent this annoyance. Players should also be able to report any mails with valid reasons, if they weren't permitted to already. If a mod wasn't on, it would be an easy way to handle situations quickly and efficiently. We should also make it an option in the /friends list for easier contact for some people, as suggested by @MintyFresh We have a good developer. I'm pretty sure it's do-able. If there is a real reason for removing /mail, please comment it. I will respond as soon as I can despite my inactivity due to artistic and academic reasons. Move this thread if it's in the wrong place or tell me.
ya i agree with /mail, it'd be fun and cool to leave messages for people who just got off to leave messages when they come back and what not

hi discdog lol and ya it'd be even cool if you could like type /mail and it opens up a screen like a chest on your screen and then you like click on what server you want to see and it shows all the people on that server so you can like search for your friends or even just type their name and press tab and see if they're on and then mail them from different servers to tel them to get on or something
