If you're unaware, hellblock used to be it's own server connected to the skyblock network - just like skywars was (find more about that on this thread). I was inspired to make this thread by @Fight's official suggestion on the skyblock forums to bring it back as it's own server, which you can check out here as he basically states lots of valid reasons as to why hellblock would make a better fit there. I decided to bring attention to this subject on these forums to see how Mineverse players feel about it. I mean, we can all agree hellblock is completely "dead", right? After all, skyblock is the perfect place for it. I feel hellblock would get the attention it needs if made apart of the skyblock network once again on the hellblock.net ip. Feel free to leave opinions. **Note: When I say "skyblock" I am referring to Cypriot & Noobcrew's other network skyblock.net, not the skyblock gamemode on Mineverse.
I think it should be connected to the SB servers too, it doesn't really fit here. Not many people play it, and those that do are probably sick of waiting for it to be fixed or at least acknowledged by the owners
The problem is, I don't recall Hellblock being popular in the first place which is most likely why they moved it to Mineverse. Ironically enough, it died here as well. I'd rather move hellblock and converge it with Skyblock which would allow you to open a nether portal into your hellblock island. Though that's just a thought of mine.
I think Hellblock should either be eliminated from Mineverse or added to Skyblock in a way. Like once a user gets enough resources, he/she can make a nether portal which would take them to their Hellblock island. It could be a cool way to merge the servers and provide more excitement. You of course wouldn't carry your items from each world to the next.
I like both of these ideas! My old server had a somewhat similar idea to this one, and it was quite pawpular!
Added to the skyblock on MV, or skyblock.net? Honestly I've seen a lot of people agree & think this is a cool idea but I just doubt it would happen.
We doubted that Towny would never come online to the public months back, but hey its here now (yes, in beta I know). Anything is possible.
There's quite a long story with rights of ownership and other things that go with Hellblock's movement here. It was plenty popular on it's own. Glad to see my suggestion mentioned here
ehh, you could just transform the nether world in skyblock (which isn't used as far as I know) and use that as the "Hell block dimension" So either Move it to skyblock.net Make some Hellblock dimension in skyblock, which would be nice considering it just got reset.
I agree with you. That would be cool for .net players, but of course, they should have some kind of poll or voting about whether the portal thing would be cool or not.
The Hellblock connection through the nether portal would be cool, but would be misleading. Because of prices on net, you couldn't bring items back and forth from Hellblock. This would mislead a lot of players who open up a nether portal to get resources, to find themselves on another server essentially. It would also make a lot of work for the mods, who would have to explain this to each person who can't figure out why they can't get nether resources over to their skyblock
Well, you could of course just let them bring resources back and forth. Of course that brings problems with duplication. Then again we could just do /spawn hellblock and it would teleport you to hellblock and allow you to do /is and access your island there.
How is there rights of ownership? Noobcrew created Skyblock and Hellblock so there shouldn't be a problem if he's using them on his own servers..
