Hi internet. Infection used to be about humans being overpowered. Now it's any high zombie prestige. Which is really amusing for the zombies, but not so fun for humans. A few months ago we complained about this vise versa where humans were overpowered and zombies couldn't really do much unless you really didn't have a life and felt like having a high prestige on Minecraft actually means something (hint: it does not). Prestiges ranging from (correct me if I'm wrong) about 7 - 10 have bows with sharpness 20 ish that'll smack a player in full titan armor into the ground with a few hits. People without a rank must rage a lot. I'm confused as to why you'd put sharpness on a bow. Seems a bit illogical but aight. Also, we're back to the classic story (before Infection reset) where zombies can throw an egg, die, then throw another egg, die, etc. Either remove the egg completely or make it a kill streak reward like you had before the reset. My suggestion (as you can read from the title) is to downgrade the higher prestige rewards and create a more balanced game-mode overal so everyone has a fair opportunity to finger-blast their mouse until they convert someone into a zombie or whatever. And yes I see how ''finger-blast'' can be taken into a sexual context. But it isn't. So go feed your hamster before it dies and you get triggered. I get that people feel important for having a high prestige versus good grades in high school but what the (insert curse word here) is up with your terrible balance fam? Remove sharpness from bows as it doesn't make any sense. They can have regular bows. Like, that works. Maybe even a ''switch'' ability? Like where they can switch with a random human on the map n stuff? That's a suggestion for another time I guess. Second part of the suggestion is to create a more balanced game-mode. Infection has never really been that good at balancing it's stuff. The second part of this suggestion will be linked to a different suggestion thread on improving the entire game-mode with some nice / more realistic zombie apocalypse scenarios and stuff. Also, if you don't support my suggestion, leave your reason why or your comment will simply be removed. Thxbye
Definitely support. There are guys who ROFL like 15 times as zombies because they egg and then use their sharp 20 bow. I feel as that is a bit too op and needs nerfed.
No support, you have only proposed to take away the egg and bow from zombies which will make infection human biased again, you need to give a good proposition that could make the game fair for both humans and zombies. If you want infection to change for the better you need to give a solid idea not just state a rant about how unfair it is or simply saying "infection needs chang." Staff will most likely comply to your wants if you give an idea that everyone agrees not just simply making a thread saying "we want change. "
My proposition is not to remove eggs or bows, but to change them. An egg can be thrown and everyone will be at half a heart. Imagine that happening over, and over, and over. As on some maps, this is possible. If eggs become something you earn as a zombie, or can only use once, that would only make a slight difference. But enough to change the tide. As for bows. A prestige 10 can walk up to a titan. 1,2,3,4. And he or she is out. Don't quote me on the exact number of hits. But I can assure you that many people have experienced it. The fact that bows have sharpness is a factor which doesn't make sense, but to make them even more overpowered? Bows can stay. Simply not the sharpness. If you still disagree with my suggestion. Then please share your perspective in further detail. Maybe we'll come to a solution that will present a more ''balanced'' game-mode.
Change is the same as removing if you change the egg to something you have to earn then it is basically the same as removing it because it is hard for people to get a killstreak especially if you plan to remove sharpness from the bow, I highly doubt players will be able to maintain a killstreak without getting two shotted by a human bow...
Then we disagree on that topic. And unfortunately this isn't a discussion topic. So we'd have to find a common ground in a different way. However I can't find the time or effort to convince one person. So I'll thank you for your opinion, but that'll be all.
