Recording software

Some people ask about software they can use to record cheaters in game.
We all have our favorites. Some People use Bandicam because it is freeware and is easy to use. Others use actual capture cards.
This is all good, but every one has different setups. Problem for bandicam I find is it is not great quality and you get that lovely watermark at the top of your screen. Also capture cards can be expensive and are not the easiest to get going.
I would like to tell you about the software I use. Granted it is for people with more powerful computers with decent graphics cards. I am unaware if the capture software will work for every one, especially those that don't already have nividia graphics cards. But I should work for people on both Mac and Pc using modern Nividia graphics cards.

It is there driver software called "GeForce Experience". It keeps the Drivers up-to-date and has a fantastic built in capture software. It is free and easy to use.
Here is an example of the GUI


It is simple to crop the videos, and easy to upload if you connect your YouTube account to the software.


And it also has customizable keyboard shortcuts for easy capturing or broadcasting.


For me this causes ZERO lag or performance loss. Also Uploads are great quality.

CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4860HQ CPU @ 2.40GHz
Memory: 32 GB RAM (31.95 GB RAM usable)
Current resolution: 1920 x 1080, 60Hz
Operating system: Microsoft Windows 10 Home
Internet speed: 50mbps up/ 50mbps down

Now I believe this would be good for people that get frustrated with cheaters in game or for those that just like to share their game play.

no... I can hardly play 2 mins without my computer seizing up and catching fire.
I dual boot with Ubuntu on my other windows comp. have not used it in probably a year though.

The best recording program for quality videos is action, all the best quality videos are recorded with action, you can record videos with 120 fps and it looks amazing. There is no program out there better than action. Trust me. You can find a leaked activation key somewhere on google.

OBS is good too. But like @AlexHandsLs said, Action is really good too.

 

I still prefer Fraps. However it does cost, but it's great quality and doesn't effect fps.

No its a gaming laptop. Aorus. i just upgraded ram to 32

 

Call me a pirate then rrrrrr, shadowplay lacks color and makes videos a bit faded when u record, overall the quality isn't too hot.

 

I tried the Action free trial, and I agree it is extremely good, and so easy to use - even I can use it, which means it really is easy.
However, $14.00...

Pros: Not hard on fps
Can record unlimited time limit
Free
No logo on the recording
Comes with free editor
Can record with hot key.
Unlimited amount of videos.
Very smooth gameplay.

Cons: Sometimes crashes skype.
The editor isnt the best.

Bandicam is a mainstream recording software. There's also action, frapz and OBS.
