Recently a mod has been abusing the Mineverse Forums Terms of Service, they have been taking down posts related to the upcoming, 2016 U.S Presidential Election. She has been known to some forum users as a Hillary Clinton supporter. She has taken down Posts related to supporting Donald Trump as well as posts against Hillary Clinton. In the Second Paragraph of the Terms of Service it sights "You agree to not use the Service to submit or link to any Content which is defamatory, abusive, hateful, threatening, spam or spam-like, likely to offend, contains adult or objectionable content, contains personal information of others, risks copyright infringement, encourages unlawful activity, or otherwise violates any laws." The posts the mod has taken down are not defamatory as the definition of this word is "The act of defaming; calumny, slander, or libel." These posts have nothing to do with calumny, slander, or libel. These posts are nor abusive or hateful as they have no malicious intent. These posts contained no threats and they weren't spam like as they were not advertising and they could provide entertainment for people. They were unlikely to offend people because they didn't look down on other's beliefs. They did not contain adult or objectionable content. These items didn't contain personal information about others, and there was absolutely no risk of copyright infringement. They didn't encourage unlawful activity or violate any laws. If you read through the rest of the Terms of Service none of it contradicts the points made in this Thread. This Thread does not reflect my political views at all. Some of the posts this mod has decided to keep up violate multiple rules in the Terms of Service. I will be creating a poll asking if people think there needs to be adjustments to staff, and or better enforced rules.

If you feel abuse is going on, reporting it is the best you could do.

You don't have to like the rules, but they are rules.

 

The rule "Mineverse is not a place for your political or religious banter. Please keep your beliefs and opinions to yourself. This is a minecraft forum." Is not being broken in these posts because no banter is going on. It is just people expressing their opinion.

The mods have the rights for no explanation but we have the right to expressing our views.

Its the rules, if you don't like them you can go somewhere else. You are allowed to speak about these rules and how they are unfair, but they ain't leaving unless Cyp sees so.
