well, I've played towny a LOT and i'm lord, got an awesome base, Max p4, Eff V gear, Sharp V gear, etc. I played about 2 hours on it today, but just got on and, My inventory was reset!!!! For some reason, I joined in and I was at the towny spawn, not my towns spawn, and I had the starter gear. I'm extremely Mad, so I quit. Heres some sort of evidence of my gear I had. Unless I could get my stuff back. I'll do some sort of giveaway for my money. This was extremely stupid, for I had Max p4, Max Eff. V tools, Max sharp V sword and axe, 2 Notch apples, 68 lvls, etc. but this was a somewhat old picture, as my old IGN as well. I QUIT
You realize, this isn't even release, right? None of your items matter at this point of time. I would see this being a issue after release, but until then issues like these are nothing to stress this much about. Quitting over items that will be gone after release is pretty pathetic if you think about it. Yeah its annoying, but its best just to report the bug so that this doesn't happen during or after release of the gamemode.
It's not petty, It took a long time to get all that stuff, but is the towny servers completely reseting? Everything? I didn't know that.
Its a beta game mode, did you not get the memo when they said, "Beta" Typically, and I said "Typically" as in most owners of anything related game or game mode reset all progress before release to have a clean sheet for fairness and equality of the community. Not all the players started on day 1 of beta and release Should and I mean Should reset to give all players a fresh start and a fair start considering many of the high dollar players on /baltop farmed sand which should be 10 times cheaper than it is right now. Sorry, had to vent.
