Hi ghostrahm here. Today I'm discussing how to revive Mineverse, or, in other words, get more daily active players. Advertising Team The main idea to revive Mineverse I have is to create an advertising team. There are tons of websites to advertise servers on, and we need a team to get us on there and get us high on their list. I am willing to create this team and get people to join it myself. The main goal of the team will NOT be to go on servers and say something like: Hey! join Mineverse, the best server! But instead it will be to go on Minecraft advertising websites and put us on their list, as I said earlier. Creating More Moderator Spots and Having Moderators Remind People the Rules The staff team is enforcing the rules, however this is not very helpful. I was lately banned on Towny for TP killing because I had no idea it was against the rules. In-game you need moderators to tell everyone the rules instead of posting them on the site when they're updated. You also need more moderator spots because there have been many cases where I have been on, someones breaking the rules, I go into /staff to find someone. Oh wait! There is no staff on. Guess this hackers going to be ruining our fun for the next 30 minutes. I am not saying this to get myself moderator because I am not going to become a mod myself. Getting a Strong Anti-Cheat I'm only going to talk about this briefly because someone else has already talked about it but we need a strong anti-cheat. There are way too many hackers on the server and their numbers are only increasing. We need to decrease this number by finding a new, stronger anti-cheat. How You Can Help Without Joining The Advertising Team There are two ways to help without joining the advertising team. One is to vote daily for the server, and the other is to tell your friends or other Minecrafters about the server. I hope you'll do this.
It is your job to read the rules, and promos are hopefully soon as well. (Pretty sure not tp killing is common sense) This is so untrue. If you look at servers like kitpvp and oppvp, they numbers have gone down drastically. There used to be bhoppers everywhere, now those hackers have left. Also, we aren't going to be able to afford a greatly strong anti-cheat like other servers because we manage 700-800 at max times. This is a good idea, bringing friends on is always nice .
First of all, not sure if you are aware of it, but moderators have a life too. They won't be on 24/7. That's why the players need to record and report the ones who break the rules. An anti-cheat will stop hackers, but not all of them. There will always be hackers. But, there is way less hackers then before. That's maybe the only thing I am ok with. The others, no sorry.
This is about the 900th thread on this topic. Your plan is to make a team of advertisers, led by you? The server is already on most server lists. As the people above said, it's your duty to read and follow the server's rules. Plus; we have an anti-cheat best of its ability. Although there are other anti cheats out there, the one we have is probably the best we're going to get considering the size of the server.
I honestly think that you should be trying to fix the problem of why a majority of our players left, instead of trying to invite new players that might follow in their footsteps.
