How to stop the server from dying

I think permanent bans would lower the server's population in stead of increasing it

And I support a big change/update thingy

 

Well we are talking about lowering the population of hackers. If you want more hackers then I guess a temp ban works :(

 

Yea I support your idea of perm ban bcus in the long run, less hackers = more fun games. More fun games = more people on the server playing the games :D.

 

I guess less hackers would attract more players to the server, so it could work. In stead of a permanent ban, I think it should be a temp ban from the entire server

 

That seems more resonable, however I think they should increase the time of the temp ban.

But I'm not so sure about the downgrading to 1.7. Because many people also play other minecraft 1.8 or 1.10 servers, and sometimes it could be a real pain to keep switching updates.

 

The reason I say 1.7 because this server almost every gamemode is pvp based and everyone knows 1.7 is the best for pvp that's why I suggested it, face reality 1.8 is for mini games and other stuff. Not pvp

Neutral... downgrading to 1.7 will then bring in more injectable clients/ghost clients. I do cerebrate that if we did get a good anticheat however 1.7 would definitely be something to consider. I also do relish the conception of getting a good anticheat, but as we ken they are pretty costly and would be a pretty immense investment for the owners to buy. Although I do like the idea of permanent banning, support on that.

Totally agree with you on this, something needs to change.

 

The problem with Mineverse is that the Minecraft multiplayer community as a whole is dying, as well as the incompetence of those who own this server.
I've noticed that every server has seen a steady decline within their player base for the last year or so, and it's mainly because Minecraft is growing stale for a decent amount of people - especially thanks to Notch selling the title to Microsoft.

The owners on here refuse to add any significant changes that could attract more new players, and perhaps even bring back some old players as well. They recently added Towny of which has already died. The host is awful, there's no good anti-cheat, etc. I could make a grocery list of issues this server has that have not been fixed.

- So while many would agree with your suggestion, including myself, it simply won't be added. Sorry to spoil, but I have tried before. The owners won't do anything drastic, such as adding new features or changing hosts.
