Should add a YouTube rank for members that make videos on the sever. Reasons stated why below(Sorry if I sound harsh) Adding a YouTube rank would give more people motivation to record on this server to reach that goal. I've been here for so long so I know what I'm talking about, this server is dying and the more people that record= more new members=active server and more money flow for Cypriot, stop being selfish and think about others guys, if you don't agree with what I'm saying then give me a valid reason. So if you don't get what I'm saying I'll make it more simple. No YouTube rank= Server still dies slowly no hope cause nothing is done/ Yes YouTube rank= Hope for the server, more members, more money. Requirements: 5+ vids on the server already Minimum 1,000+ subs for now (baby steps, slowly increase when server gets more players) Must make 2 or more vids a week Leave the server IP in description Pros: Toggle PM( Maybe) Global Rank( Every server) @Dyna_Mighty @CypriotMerks @Pile @Noobcrew
Please note: we do have a youtube rank, but no popular youtuber has ask for a rank on MV personally to Cypriot (Maybe its because we ain't number 1 anymore or something). Any who, it does exist, but no one really has the rank so why bother suggested for ti to be added. The requires of course are very high due to the fact that its a awesome rank to have and people who have worked hard for their subs and views in the MV server deserve the rank, those who have not worked the max probably don't deserve to have the rank. With that said, there is no need to suggest for the rank to be added since it already exists.
No we don't, I was talking to Cypriot about this the other day. I have friends with 20k plus and I've brought them to Mineverse and they would gladly make videos but without a rank to award them for what they're doing is kind of unfair.
Well, I was told by the entire staff team we had one during my days of moderating. Guess they are wrong (Traitors). Well, I guess when someone says its true on the internet, it really is true, guess I'll have to give ya the ye ole trustyroo and believe ya message (Oh geez, I've been int he south too long). Anyway, yeah I doubt, I bet there is one its just he doesn't have it set to have anything on it. I do see Youtuber rank being a cosmetics bonus only thing, with only a few commands such as /mutepm (mutes private messages) that will be implied with the rank. Nothing should be given to them of high value of the server, but also be unique from other ranks without stepping over the EULA line.
I mean I sup and I have never seen a person with a yt rank or it in general so... and if there was one wouldn't be questionable why it is not acknowledged on forums and there is no post Signified to it?
Could you list all the requirements pls? Some servers don't have a YouTube rank with a certain amount of subscribers they do it based on content quality and view count. Foils has 300 subscribers and his mineverse videos get 2k-4K views he would be one with the rank if it were to be a thing. Would it be on certain gamemodes or global?. Would there need to be an upload scedule, if so how many videos per week/month. I'm saying this because I'm currantly applying for YouTube rank on a server and these are the things they're looking for. Subscriber count shouldn't matter those are just numbers, it's the content/support that matters! Once again I support, but more information would be nice :')
"Foils" Has a great Viewer Area but his subs Don't Represent that, If Foils was to apply for yt rank which Cyp should add a Pin on forums to post YouTube apps I think 1.5k + Because Mineverse is dying kind of due to lack of mods, Mods that are threatened and scared ( ;) rodeen ) and Mods that just apply Lie about the time on server all day, Get mod then occasionally come on and ban kids that look sketchy and not rec them... that's the kind of mods. Mineverse needs a Revamp Lets be honest here, OpPvP a new map, Kit they did good with adding 2, Factions reset, OpFacs reset, Adding new additions to the server each day, and adding speed 2 to op xd <3. But, If I was Cyp//NoobCrew I would be revamping the staff team letting other people try out and keep tabs on them for awhile and see how they end up doing and see if they actually stand up and do what "the Requirements of being mod are for and what to do and not false ban and get solid evidence" a mod should do. Oh and rodeen have you ever tried applying for mod I think you would fit the requirements, Just make sure to not download anything anonymously.
Lol me? Mod? Never gonna happen bro, if you're curious as to why you can always pm me this would be OFF topic because this is for YouTube applications. And I do agree that some of the staff are inactive but a lot of them aren't, the recent promotion is being handled quite well, I see @Scorvix and @Elliot tryharding reports which is good, I think the staff team is fine.
To everyone that thinks a YouTube rank requires 15k subs you're out of your mind, no offense but no one with 15k subs is gonna join this server anytime soon besides Godz yesterday he has like 50k and that's only cause of rodeen.
Well duh, that's why its called youtuber rank. But, if its the same as the sponsor kit its not worth earning the requirements of youtuber rank. However, if it does give items in game, it does cross the EUAL line of "you can't sell stuff" crap Mojang made and I imagine they got a rule for youtuber ranks as well since they make money off the videos required for the rank in the first place.
If you don't support this thread then you don't support the server at all, it's a rank that also benefits youtubers by helping their channel grow also, stop being selfish and look in all the point of views before you comment.
