Hey all, Rlxtreme here with another original suggestion (Yeah, I made sure no one thought of this suggestion this time). So, what kind of mess have I suggested this time? Well, it is called the Mineverse Games. The game mode is very complicated so let’s get right into it. -===- How it Works -===- So, without getting too technical, the game mode revolves around a competition between players and the winner gets a prize. Now, to advertise and get more popularity for Towny, this game mode is based around Towny. How does it work? Well, let us figure that out. First and foremost, the game mode is revolved around Towny like I said. The top 5 towns will feature the top 5 players in each town based on three things. For a town to be in the top 5, they need: -The most (or be in the top 5 for the most) population of your town. -The most money for your town. -The most land in your town. To make things fair and to prevent cheaters, each town needs to be within the top 5 for all 3 categories. What about nations you ask? Well, we want technical towns, not nations, so nation money will not count as the Town’s total money or population/land. So, what about the five players again? Well, the top 5 towns will have five players each, the five players each from all five towns represent each town. How the players are chosen are up to the top 5 towns and the players selected must be willing to play in order to compete. In total, there will be five teams of 5 players each, representing all five towns (You can see there is a theme of 5 of everything do you not?). Now on to the actual game mode. The Mineverse Games consist of 5 games (Ha, told you there was a theme) based on five game modes that Mineverse is known for. Each game will be unique while also representing a bit of the game mode they are based on. The five games being: -===- The Infectious Hunger Games -===- All 25 players will spawn on a large map (Not too large though), and the winning team will receive a point towards their team/town. Chests are spread out throughout the map containing various items and resources varying from foods to armor. Note, all the spawn locations are random (typically on the ground) and will not spawn within 30 blocks of each other. Also, all players will have 45 seconds to gather resources before the Infection begins. The Infection is a disease that will randomly affect one particular team (randomly), and the infected team’s goal is to kill all the non-infected people. Note, non-infected teams can attack other non-infected teams and infected teams. Trust and Allying with other enemy teams are allowed to non-infected teams. However, infected teams must always be enemies to the infected teams. Also, note that infected players will have a buff of bonus five attacks with their bare hands and debuff of 5 attack with a weapon (any weapon). (5 attack also means five attacks, not five hearts) Infected players will have a slow of 50% but a hp increase of 100% (Meaning they have 20 hearts). After 3 minutes of the Infection, a second team will be infected. However, both infected teams must battle it out as well (Since you know, they are infected). If the remaining non-infected players survive another 3 minutes without killing all the infected players, a third team will be infected, and this repeats until all players are infected (making the game a bit interesting). If by chance, all teams are infected (doesn’t matter how many) the game will end in a tie-breaking battle between the infected teams. The infected teams will use the items they have gathered through the game to battle it out and declare the victor. Note, the infected teams will become non-infected during this tie breaker battle. The Winner team receives one point for their team. -===- Galactic Kit Battle Royale -===- Each team will be given five kits (they can choose whichever kit, doesn’t matter how many) to wear and battle in the most galactic arena of all time (basically, an arena in space, since this is Mineverse). Essentially it is a 5v5v5v5v5 battle, and the winning team receives one point. The kits are: Healer (Healer kit) Spoiler: Healer kit -Iron armor set -New (modded) item, “Healing Mixture” (The kit contains 10 of these) Healing Mixture can be thrown on the grow, and any player within three blocks of the splash zone will receive 5 seconds of Regen 2 -New (modded) item, “Armor Strengthener” (The kit contains 5 of these) Players within three blocks of the splash zone receive resistance for 30 seconds -New (modded) item, “Spray Bottle” (The kit contains 5 of these) Players within one block of the splash zone will be removed of debuffs: Blindness and unconsciousness -Iron Sword Tank Spoiler: Tank Kit -Diamond armor set -New (modded) item, “Glorious Shield.” This item when held will block 50% of the damage upon the player. However, attack speed is slowed down by 50%. -Iron Sword Buff – 50% more hp Archer Spoiler: Archer Kit -Leather armor set -Iron Sword -New (modded) item, “Bow of Awesomeness) Left click (hold and release) will release a sharp arrow that depends on the time held on the bow, will do damage up to 10 attacks (must hold the bow for 10 seconds). Right click when held for 10 seconds will release a barrage of arrows in the air that do 0.5 attacks each arrow (the bow will fire 20 arrows). Buff: Speed I Champion Spoiler: Battle Kit -Iron armor set -Iron sword -New (modded) Ability: Rage Mode Every attack a player does and receives 1 XP level to the player’s XP bar. Once the bar hits 100 XP, the bar is reset to 10 and climbs back down to 0 XP levels (1 level per second). The player is given 10 seconds of increase damage (25%) and Speed I. All attacks will not reset the timer on Rage Mode. Magician Spoiler: Magic Kit -Gold Armor set -New (modded) item, “Golden Staff of Magic” and “Golden Staff of Fire and Ice” The staffs will allow the player to summon spells such as “Fire,” “Ice,” “Blindness,” and “unconsciousness.” The player will start with 100 XP levels, and each spell costs XP levels. XP levels will climb back up to 100 for one every second. “Fire” costs 20 XP levels and will shoot a fireball in the player’s direction. The Fire spell will be on the staff of Fire and Ice. (Left click the summon spell) “Ice” freezes a player that the holder of the staff right clicks (must be in 15 blocks of range). The player can receive damage; however, the damage is reduced by 25% and the time the player is frozen is 10 seconds. The spell costs 50 XP levels. “Blindness” costs 20 XP levels and will blind a player for 5 seconds. Both “blindness” and”unconscious(is)” are on the Golden Staff of Magic. “Unconsciousness” costs 100 XP levels and will make a player unconscious for 20 seconds making them unable to move or see. -Golden Sword -===- The Ultimate Survivalists -===- This game challenges the player’s ability to adapt while also surviving to the worst case scenario in a survival type world. Each team will spawn in their distinct area and must out survive the enemy teams. The players have a certain amount of type (3 minutes) to gather what is on their remote islands in the middle of the ocean before the game begins. When the game begins, night shall fall, and hell invades the islands. The players must survive the five waves of hell. The first wave being acid rain from above. Rain will fall, and fire will be set on everything wood related and leaves related. Stone will turn to cobblestone (randomly, however, rain must hit the block for at least 5 seconds) and cobblestone will break (again, randomly with the same rules as stone). If you survive 3 minutes of acid rain, congratulations, you will make it wave 2. Wave 2, is fairly simple, Lava from above. Random lava blocks will be summoned in the sky and will rain lava from the sky to the island. Lava has the same rule as acid rain, however, is must more terrifying when you are a player. After 3 minutes of surviving, you have made it wave 3, death by mobs. Wave 3 will summon mobs on the sea floor and will allow them to swim up to the surface going towards the islands. Various mobs from Zombies to Withers will spawn and will relentlessly try to kill the players. For each minute, the mobs spawn faster and in large amounts (25 mobs per 20 seconds, after 1 minute it is 50 mobs per 20 seconds, after 2 minutes it is 100 mobs every 20 seconds). Wave 4 (if they made it this far) the showers of asteroids. Yeah, 3 minutes of asteroids randomly falling from the sky. Of course, each asteroid contains obsidian, bedrock, and much lava. The size of the asteroids will vary and will destroy any block it hits. Wave 5 Hell boss. The final wave is simply a wither boss that summons acid rain, random asteroids, and has an army of wither skeletons (that spawn 50 every 30 seconds). If a team manages to defeat the boss before dying, they win. If this ends up in a tie, the tie breaker Is to defeat the most powerful final boss in the game, me! Yes, The Real Xtreme final boss. Equipped with a diamond sword that does 20 damage per hit and cleaves to split the damage per enemy hit. The Real Extreme boss has 40 health, diamond armor and can fly at will. He can also summon lightning on the player and summon asteroids towards a player as well. If Real Xtreme reaches below five health, he will engage the enemy in Rage mode increasing his damage by 75%, speed by 50% and summoning chance by 50%. He will also have Regen 2 below five hp. If more than one team manages to defeat the boss, the game ends in a brawl between the teams with the items they have. (Though I doubt anyone could defeat me with those stats of mine xD) -===- Prison Escape -===- Based on the game mode Prison and every prisoner's dream of accomplishing correctly, Prison Escape is to escape the prison the fastest simply. The team with the fasted time will receive a point. Each Team spawns at the same time and starts at the same time. Players must work together to defeat the guards, rogue prisoners, and the infamous Real Extreme Warden. Each team spawns in their prison and each player spawns in a prison cell randomly. The players have a goal to escape and other prisoners have heard the rumors and may attack you to stop you from escaping (or even tag along to help stop guards). You have 3 minutes to find a way to escape prison. Ways to escape the prison are: -Gang kills a guard (or several guards) to find weapons and be able to take down the prison guards and the supreme warden. -Make a riot make the guards distracted while you escape. -trade with prisoners to find weapons or allies. -Collapse the prison within by destroying the beams holding up the walls to allow you to escape unharmed (Maybe harmed? Maybe not) The options are up to the builder to set the limit of ways the players can escape, but the main basis is that the team with the fastest time wins a point. -===- The Finale Game -===- The final game of the Mineverse Games ends with an epic battle of who can gather the most resources and battle it out. Players must go to a server of their choosing, gather resources and return with those resources to fight the other teams. All five teams spawn in a hallway of portals with names on top (survival, hellblock,etc.) It is up to the team to decide which server to go to and gather resources. The time limit is 5 minutes, and they cannot switch servers after choosing a server. Each team will choose a leader, and each leader decides which server the team goes to. No two teams can go to the same server, so speed is key on deciding. All servers of Mineverse will be available except for mini-games and game modes that do not give resources. Essentially the choices are Towny, Survival, The block game modes (Skyblock, Hellblock, etc.), Factions, OPFactions, and so on. Once time is up, all players will be teleport-ed to a special arena based on Mineverse and each team will battle it out and the winner takes a point. So, in conclusion, the team with the most points wins, and if there is a tie, a random game is selected to be the tie breaker. -===- The Reward -===- The winning team will receive God rank for each player, and the town that the team represents will receive one mil $ in the bank as well as their name on the Wall of Champions on forums and in-game in the spawn of Towny. -===- Questions -===- Have a question? Neutral These sound like good ideas. However, we might need to fix our existing gamemodes before adding new ones.
May I ask why it doesn't sound good? I kinda need a idea of what's wrong in order to either fix the idea or make changes to the idea. Yeah, I tried making it interesting by offering a free God rank as reward, maybe titan rank would be worth more being that 5 people would receive free titan and their town being known as the town that holds the first champion team to win the MV Games. Very good point, of course this is just a (quote on quote) "Alpha" suggestion. I'm still working on making it fair and such for everything and everyone, so the idea isn't finished at all, however community feedback helps me a lot right now. Neutral, however may I ask how you would assemble the staff team if there will be one? Also, I like how in depth you have gone into this but you would need more people on the server for it to be effective. ~Scuffy
Also, I think that it would be really fun if the servers were the actual Mineverse games so you can play in the ones which you know best. Obviously this would require op prison to be much less op just for this game.
Let's face it. Nobody read it all. (no support, imo, cypriot should focus on fixing the current games instead of creating a new one)
Ah, well thank you for your opinion either way. I asssume by staff team you mean a team of staff watching the games as they go? I did have an idea to solve this which was that Cypriot or one of the head mods would be recording the whole thing, not only to provide evidence if one of them were hacking but that the whole community could watch the event. To be fair, this is a in depth idea which will require a lot of time building for a such an event. Thus, I hope that the idea is implemented if accepted around the time Cypriot has finished working on the server fixing all the major bugs and such (or at least almost done). I don't expect this idea to be accepted immediately, since it is a developing idea that grows with community feedback. But, either way thank you for your opinion about the idea.
