    Should Survival be Reset?

    1. Yes. I understand the severity of the situation.

    2. No, I dupe. Don't destroy my items.

    3. No, I have worked hard. I don't want to lose my items.

I am a very new member to the survival server (just a few days), and to Mineverse in general, and this is my impression.

There are a lot of griefed areas. A number of places have been so heavily griefed that it is unsafe to walk around (pit traps, sudden falls into ravines). These are often at obviously named warp sites, however in my exploration I haven't found many places that look pristine.
I walked to the edge of the map yesterday. In my trek, everywhere I went I found evidence that others had already been there. True, some areas you had to walk for a while to find another settlement, but for the people that want lots of space, they aren't likely to find it easily.

The way survival is set up on this server, it's difficult to find your way around. Not having a warps list makes it very difficult for a newcomer.

I've been on servers previously that did things slightly differently; they gave you the option of multiple /sethome locations and charged in-game for warps. They then had an accessible warp list that players could navigate with. This meant that people valued their warps and were more likely to keep the warp in good repair. If players were perma-banned or for some reason abandoned their claim, other players would quickly seize upon the opportunity to remake the area rather than let the warp go to waste. This meant fewer areas of griefing.
It also meant that an individual player could prep areas before claiming them or making them obvious to other players. At the moment I would hazard a guess that the only way to exclude other players from an area you're prepping for a build would be to blockade the warp site.

I've also seen survival servers that gradually reset unclaimed areas to their original state. This served to keep the server in an attractive state to entice new players, and meant that griefing didn't affect areas long-term.

A reset would potentially enable the new blocks from the 1.10 update, which would be really nice.
