I don't know if you know who KatoKillsMyGPA is but he was a long standing staff member here for years. He was here long before I and was the only one trusted with Forum Admin besides Sean and myself, along with Head-Mod in game. He helped clean up these forums for Cyp when this server was still new. One of the few .net staff asked to come over to help here. He was was the Hellblock Admin from it's very early/popular stage. Before it was even added to Mineverse. In short he was much more than just a "Head-Mod for a short period of time." Without him things here would have been very different.
Ah, my bad then - My only memory of him was when he got the head-mod position again, but I never really seen much of what he had done. Of course, he would've done more than I saw, but I guess he was more active before I joined.
Most mods just re-apply anyways. If anything I think @Bananurz should be the only one with that tag because he actually deserved it.
The idea behind "Retired-Mod" would work I guess if the mod held the position for a certain amount of time. Though, personally I'd much rather have the regular title of "Experienced Member", "Boss Member", etc. If possible to make two titles, then maybe? I dunno. I don't think people really care, in all honesty.
That's awfully kind but the other head mods also deserve this title. This whole retired rank may have been sparked by my resignation but it doesn't mean the others are any less worthy. They have all done things that have changed MV.
theres only ex head mod because mods aren't important enough, say i got mod one day then the next day I resign for that cool retired tag, does that make any sense?
Ex-Head Mod is a sweet idea for those who have served the amount of time and worked to change things. Now, otherwise. Ex-Mod would become very hectic. There has been many mods over the years and could you imagine all of them with that title. @Bananurz . Did his job as head mod and earned his title as did the others.
