I feel like it should only be grave digging if someone who is not the owner of the application. If someone else bumps it after a month then it should be grave digging, but I feel as if the owner should be able to bump it.

      I'm neutral on this.
I understand that gravedigging is very annoying, and shouldn't be considered or done. As @Random said, if the owner bumps their application then it should be fine. However, there are 75 pages of applications, a lot of which are simply amazing, and only 8 pages of accepted applications. I understand that more than some of these pages of unanswered applications are denied but there are so many that need to be answered but staff members simply forget or don't see it because no one had bumped it.
I have another suggestion which is branching off my comment, and it will most likely be put down, but why not create another tab for denied applications? I understand that 75 pages are a lot, but it would just make it much more organized and at least the applicant can have a chance to see if their application is denied/accepted. Plus, the ones left over can be the ones bumped.

      Thanks! :)
Yes, but most of the time the OP hasn't even been on since the application was created. If they want moderator they need to actually try by bumping it and trying to make it noticed.
      Thanks!

I support only the owner of the app being able to bump them.

Not really reasonable, their application may no longer meet the requirements.

If they did not meet the requirements, we give them 48 hours to complete them.

But their application may be so far down in the pages that it hasn't been noticed for months.

There are many applications like that currently.

I think an application that is over a month old and that has been bumped by someone whom isn't the applicant should fall under this. If the applicant doesn't reply to the thread for more than a month, then that just shows that they aren't dedicated towards it.

Support, but perhaps take things a step further.

I would think that should an application not receive any attention (bump, posts, etc) for a 60 day period, the thread be auto-archived. This would help keep the Moderator application forums a bit more condensed and help reduce the necro-posting seen on the oldest applications. When the thread is auto-archived, just set it up so that the owner of the thread is notified. This will help close the loop with the applicant, and perhaps state they are welcome to try again in the future. (This is to prevent more than 1 app per player, but give them the chance to try again)

So the original idea I like, but would also prefer to see a way for the Application forums to get pared down a bit to something more manageable.
