My name is TechMogul, I am a experienced member on Mineverse. You may see me on the "Help" section of the forums because I am on that section the most. I am applying for staff because I want to make the community better than it already is by moderating on the server and on the forums. I hope you enjoy reading this mod application.

I am motivated to apply for a staff position at Mineverse, because I love interacting with people on a daily basis and I love helping people everyday, it's what I do in real life and it is what I do when I help my little brothers. I also get a deep sense of satisfaction when I help other people and when I make the community better. This is what I love to do everyday in real life and in-game. I also like moderating in general, I find it fun to moderate a server because it helps other people and makes the community better and that is what I am looking to do as a staff member. Some ways I will positively contribute to the community is by moderating everyday. This helps the community because I can keep the community clean from hackers, malicious users, and rule breakers. This will help me make the community better than it is. Another way I could help contribute to the community is by helping people in-game and on the forums, this is what I love to do and this what I am willing to do. I love to help people it is what I do everyday at school, home, and work. Lastly, I will sacrifice my time to do my school work and study to moderate on the server. This is important because I need to ensure that the community is safe for our younger users and our older users. These are the ways I will positively contribute to the community. Lastly, I should be chosen to be a mod because I like to work hard. I am willing to spend my time to improve this server and make it better than it already is. I will be willing to come one everyday and help other people in-game and on the forums, I am also willing to moderate on the forums and on the server everyday to ensure it is clean from hackers, rule breakers, and malicious users. Aside from that, I want to be a positive influence in the community, which means I am willing to be kind, nice, respectful, and most importantly treat others the way I want to be treated wether or not I get accepted as a trainee. If I be a positive influence, then someone will follow me and be a positive influence so on. Lastly, I should be chosen to become a trainee because I am dedicated to what I do, I will ensure that I come online everyday just to help other users and moderate.


If I am added to the mod team, then I will create new teams and change the mod recruiting process. I will make a new mod recruiting team and change the entire recruiting process. I will work with Cyp to create mod applications on google forms which will be read by the mod recruiting staff. If the mod recruiting staff member decides that you are worthy enough to join the team, then cyp or another admin will invite you to the team! If not then a mod recruiter will send you a rejection message. All apps will be responded to within two weeks! The community will still get to support or not support mod applications. If someone applies then we will post their application to the mod recruiting section and you all can decide wether or not you will support them! We will use all these factors when deciding who can be a mod.



If I am added to the mod team, then I will start vandal patrol! Vandal patrol will monitor users who violate our rules in the community a lot of times. The patrol will consist of friendly mods that will reach out to the rule-breakers and warn them not break the rules. Then, the patroller will add them to a special spreadsheet (which I will make) and the assigned mod will monitor the user.

I was a mod on a game called pandana which got removed because of financial issues.

I love you as a friend but honestly its way to early you just came back. You dont seem ready. I will give you these following tips to help you out because I really want you to change my mind.

• Do more reports
• be more active in-game and forums
• get more well known
• help people out
• Please lower font size.

Some of these are great ideas, but regular mods don't have much power when it comes to changing ways, and adding things. You would to need bring all these ideas to Cyp, pile and anyone who is a higher ranked staff member and get them looked at and possibly accepted.

But keep up the good ideas! And feel free to create suggestions in the suggestion areas of the forums for any new ideas that you could think of that would help the server.

 

Sorry, I have to go with a no support. Main reasons have been stated by elephant.

- I don't quite like your take on Mod recruiting teams
- You're not that well-known
- Do reports
- Lower font size for the sparkly sub-titles, it just makes your application look longer than it should be
- Neutral about Vandal Patrol. There's a lot of hackers who come back on after getting banned, and continue hacking. It would be hard to keep track of all of them.
- To be honest, I don't think Mods get to work with Cyp to change many things unless you're really on the Staff Team for like ages. Even some Mods who have been working in the Staff Team for a long time don't really get many chances to work with Cyp to change policies, etc. E.g. @MaxNinja10 didn't get to Sr. Mod until a really long time, I don't think you're ready for that kind of position right now.

Your application is freaking fabulous. It's truly beautiful! From what I've seen, you're also a very nice and kind person. I think you could've expanded and gone more into depth on why you think you should become a moderator though. Maybe state some of your qualities that you may possess? If you're honest, unbiased, mature, respectful etc.

Spoiler: Trainee

You use the word trainee, as if you're applying for a staff position another big server has. Did you copy an application for another minecraft server or don't you know how Mineverse works? Moderator is the lowest staff position here. Change this please...?

You state that you have a recording software, so why don't you report people? By what I can see, you haven't actually made a report. This is just a suggestion, but I think you should report people to show that you do stop violators from ruining people's experience playing. This isn't a change you should make IF promoted. Same goes for your suggestions. Why suggest it as a staff member, why not now?
