Active Moderation

Okay sorry to say this but i don't think a lot of moderators are 'active'
Yes we have a different variety of moderators but i only see about 1-5 online at a time.
Yes we don't need 10 moderators per game mode but i've never saw more than 5 online at a tims.
Yes i know about time zones, but i'm normally on around decent times ( i'm in the u.k. ) and i try to make an effort to come online when most countries are awake/not at school/work. Obviously we have to have a life outside of minecraft and can't be on 24/7 but even just 2-3hours a day would impact the situation. I've not saw any threads about this so that's why i made it.


I just think more moderators should be active.

How to fix this?

Well, demote moderators (oo harsh) who don't do there job effectively and actively ( unless on vacation or family trip or computer breaks, etc ). Accept moderator applications who say they can be active a lot (obviously) and can go on a variety of servers.

Disagree if you want but i think it should be going into consideration.

( Move this into the Rant thread if you want but i put in suggestions because i'm suggesting it's fixed xoxo )

 

its true, and @MR_B3N_123 has been telling me she is like active once every 2 weeks.

that's stupid? i see mod apps which should be accepted ( e.g. no bans recently or ever, saying they will be active, lots of skills and moderation experience ) but they never get accepted

 

saying you are active (dinoducky) and showing you are active are two totally different things

Well they're active it's just a lot of our mods are American, Canadian, Australian and others but I do see a good amount of EU mods on, to be fair.

like i said, i normally come on late at night so canadians / americans are online ( 12-3am would be like 6-9 hours behind )

 

and you would be a good moderator, i saw the app

 

at this point i dont think its about time zones, i think its about the IQ of moderators, and how retarded they are.
