What's the point of being a moderator if you can't do your job? I trust that they would not abuse this. Support

No support. This command can be easily abused and if people really want to get rid of hackers, they can download free recording software such as Bandicam. I don't see why the watermark matters if it's just for reporting hackers.

Can't /ban or /kick be abused just as easily?

Many servers have logs for when people use commands like /v as well.

A log for /v shows what? It's not a camera.

Some servers save and store their daily log of commands through the console automatically.
So, if someone was abusing /v, it would be easy to tell who. This is because you could see who used what command and the date and time of the command in a server log.

There's usually multiple staff members on and they're almost always on the same gamemode. If staff had /v they'd almost always be in /v.

I'm not sure how /v relates to the distribution of mods on servers, as I think that this is a separate issue, but I'm willing to hear your argument for it. Anyway, I don't think the staff being in /v frequently is a bad thing, because it is unlikely that it would be abused. Think about it. I'm guessing that most of the staff team is mature enough to decide that a bit of vanish abuse isn't worth the work it took to get their position. It takes a great amount of time and effort to be granted moderator status. Even with all of the work, most people aren't selected. Because of all of this, I don't think /v abuse is any more likely than the abuse of other commands, maybe even less likely.
