Shireen's Re-Application My Demotion So I did get demoted just because of a person going onto my account, this person was helping me with my 2FA just before my promotion and my previous application, once I got promoted I was sure of it that no one was using my forums account, but then I get a message from the head-mod saying that this person has been on my account more than once just because he/she got banned and he/she were checking as to why they got banned, which inevitably led do my demotion. Note - I checked that all my accounts are secure, I'm sorry for what this person has done but really it was my own fault, it will not happen again, I'm sorry Cypriot Your in-game name its_shireen What timezone are you in? BST (+1:00) What country do you live in? United Kingdom What languages do you Speak? I am fluent in both English and Czech Do you have 2FA enabled? Yes, I currently have 2FA enabled. Do you have the necessary means of capturing evidence? (i.e. recording software, screenshots, etc) Bandicam and Action for instant screen recording and Gyazo for taking screenshots. Why do you think you should become a mod? Personally I believe that I should become mod because I enjoy helping players. This works extremely well with my timezone, as most of the time, there are not too many mods online based around the European timezones, and I can almost guarantee that players will be in search of a moderator's help and I would definitely be able to step-up and assist them in any way necessary. I also believe that moderators should behold certain traits, in order to make them a more reliable applicant, as well as make them more appealing.Below I have listed some of the traits I personally believe I behold that would suit the position of moderator: Active Basically, I believe that an active moderator will soon enough make a great moderator, as long as they are committed, which I will get into later. Activity within the community and server is a key part about being a moderator. It should the users of the server that you are dedicated, which is definitely what we want to see when it comes to moderators. Helpful Being helpful is a huge factor of moderation. If you aren’t helpful, then why are you a mod? Every single moderator is helpful. They give up some of their free time in order to make this server a better place to visit for new, and old members of server/community. Responsible A responsible mod is a good mod. Under this I would also like to imply that being mature is also a key role in being a good moderator. I will also go as far to say that I am a responsible and mature person, though I do enjoy having some fun at time, but only when necessary. Anti-Favouritism Inevitably, we all have friends and don’t want to break that friendship, but at the same time, nor do they. I’m quite sure that the people I am friends with would respect that I am a moderator in the sense that they won’t force me to take action against them, such as ban them for breaking the rules and well, if they do, then I wouldn’t hazard to comply within the rules and file the ban on them. Committed When it comes to something I enjoy doing, I stay committed to it. This works well as it will allow you to know that I wouldn’t just stick around as moderator for a short time, then resign. I would be in for as long as I possibly can be. Teamwork I am a team player, for sure. I am good at making friends and getting along with people. Showing a first impression and such. So, I’m sure that there wouldn’t be any hassle between myself and another member of staff. How long can you be active on the server everyday? Monday: 2 - 7 hours Tuesday: 3 - 5 Hours Wednesday: 3 - 4 hours Thursday: 2 - 8 hours Friday: 4 - 5 hours Saturday: - 4 - 10 hours Sunday: - 3 - 7 hours How long have you been Playing Mineverse ? I’ve been actively playing Mineverse for around 2 and a half years. Have you ever been banned in the past? Unfortunately, I have one forums ban and two server bans to my name...My ban from forums was when I was very new to the whole concept of there being a forums. I wasn’t at all aware of what I was doing when I had done it. I never knew the rules at the time being, which ended up in me being banned from the forums for “Like Farming”. I do apologise for this and I can also assure you that I am now fully aware of the rules, both in-game and forums based. My first in-game ban was on the accountability of my cousin whom decided to access my account after he got himself banned. This will no longer be a problem though, as he has no access to my account anymore whatsoever. My second in-game ban was more so a similar thing. It was placed under “Ban Evasion”, but of course I wasn’t actually evading any bans at the time. It was revolved around the misunderstanding of IP Addresses. Again, my cousin got himself a ban, which ended in me getting banned to, as he has once logged in while connected to my router. This shouldn’t speculate again as I’m quite confident in saying that the moderators now know the user is my cousin, so I should be safe from being banned. Do you have any past experience as a moderator? I am in-fact an ex-moderator for this server, Mineverse. I believe that my time as a moderator definitely did help me out a bunch, though suddenly ending in a demotion because of something I wouldn’t think would ever happen. I do however, own up to my mistakes, though unavoidable at the time being as I didn’t actually realise my mistake, until of course, it was too late. Do you meet the requirements for staff? Yes, as of writing this application I in-fact do meet all the requirements put in place. 50 Post Count ✓ Two Factor Authentication ✓ 2 Weeks Registered on the Mineverse Forums ✓ Offline Communication ✓ YouTube Channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3uFPPPhLkBs2li-nfS1o0w Conclusion Thank you for reading my second moderator application, once again im sorry about my demotion. It will Never happen again.
Full support. I wanted to become a moderator before your promotion but it's just as if you were stripped of all your hard work because of that incident. You definitely deserve the position once again.
