    So recently I have been banned for death threats, and I didnt say it. the person who has reported me has edited the gyazos to make it look like I said "K your *"

    So I emideatly appealed, and I showed my logs, but the staff did not accept it, even if the gyazos was fake or not I would still be banned.

    After being Admin/mod on numerous servers.
    I have got an idea, the staff should get the server chat logs, this is what my message would look like

    [17/09/2016 16:27:09] XxXTechBoyXxX: Hello

    from this the staff can:

    •look at every chat message
    •it shows what players actually said
    •shows the exact time.

    You realize the reason we do not accept logs is because those can indeed be edited easily.
    Yes sometimes it happens where Gyazo pictures are faked but even so we can usually see mistakes in the picture proving so.
    I doubt we'd ever get access to server chat logs.

    although I get your approach, you need to understand that chat logs can't be accepted as evidence (I just edited some of your logs, prove me which ones are fake?)
    The only thing you can do here is to appeal and if you have evidence like screenshots or video at that time in game to provide them. :/
    I know it sucks. :(

    I think the screenshot is suspicious tho.

    -Won't people say things like "ez ban"
    -Why is this reporter taking a photo of the photo?

    The screenshot seems suspicious; some of the S has been cut off.
    I don't think that it would be possible for mods to access this: maybe admins?

    I'll provide my full opinion through PM to avoid getting off topic here but I strongly believe this was a photoshopped image due to many factors. I am neutral for this suggestion, chat logs are very private and I doubt players would be comfortable in us having records of them. Possibly only for head moderators?

    Ok. Your logs can easily be edited, that's why we don't accept them.
    And Crew and Cypriot are not going to sit through their console or server logs for hours to find the exact moment you were banned - that would take ages, literally so long.
    And, us moderators cannot be trusted with the console - so we cannot do this either.
