[Guide] Help, I have a death item and I can't spawn!

Okay, so lots of people have been having this issue lately.

Story time!

You are playing on creative, minding your own business when an invisible guy drops a death item into your hands, and you pick it up and die.
Then you cannot respawn (Because you die immediately)

Solution!

Okay, so first of all you will want a smart phone (This *might work on a Macbook if you download the app, but I never tried this)

iPhone users!
1. Go to the app store and find MinechatLite *Should be free
2. Download it, and enter your Mojang account log in stuffs.
3. Connect to Mineverse.net and type /creative
4. Then just do /ci and you should be okay.

Android Users!
Same thing, but instead download MC chat Lite

If you are still having issues, just toss me a PM on the forums or make a help post further explaining the situation.

How can you prevent against these guys?
Always have a full hotbar/quickbar. The item will only affect you if it is in your hand.
If you happen to see who tossed the item I highly encourage you to take a picture of his/her name then report it here.

Other solution from beefy!

If you can, get a macro-mod to do the command /ci. Then spam it.

If that doesn't work, then you can follow this:
First of all, this requires a mouse with macros on the side.

1. Go to the Minecraft Control Settings.
2. Configure the controls to bind the mouse key with a hotbar slot.
3. Spam the key, until the selected slot moves into a slot without the book.

I hoped this worked, it worked for me! :D

 

What if, like me, you don't have a Mac or a smartphone?
you're screwed

How about Nokia Dinosaur?

 

ESPECIALLY a nokia. It works on a Nokia the fastest from what I have heard

 

I guess that if people didn't have that I could do it for them, but it would involve them telling me their mojang account info, which most people wouldn't be okay with.

However, if they were desperate enough I would do it but I would recommend that they change their password immediately after.

 

My Nokia is so old, it doesn't actually have games on it, let alone Wi-Fi!

I just downloaded Key Binds when this happened. Press the key bind key I binded to do /clear, totally worked. Good luck guys. Thanks for this solution BlueBerry and Beef!

 

Sounds brill- now it's tried and tested, I'll get it if I ever get a death item!

 

Minechat doesn't work actually but Ill try macro.

Anyone who doesn't have a Smartphone or Ipad or anything like that on your Computer download http://www.bluestacks.com/ and basically what it is a Computer Based phone and you can download any apps from the Google Playstore and use it. So Enjoy .

 

It worked for you? I cleared my inventory with Minechat but I keep dying and I couldn't go on creative for a month! D:

 

I used Key Binds, not Minechat...

Surprisingly it did. I just spammed the clear button and it cleared my inventory.
