I made this thread cause I was thinking what if Mineverse just shut down so how long do you think it will last for I have no idea

 

Depends on microsoft.. If they will make more stupid updates like 1.9/1.10 then I think that minecraft will die so mineverse as well.

 

I'm not liking the way Microsoft is going

Well I won't be playing MV or Minecraft at that time so its all gud.

 

Microsoft bought lot of companies and still fails to show improvement. Main reason Microsoft put the Minecraft Realms into release was to replace the cost they spent for buying Mojang. They saw how many networks were making good money off donations and decided to implement an agreement to the End Users License Agreement to make people move into realms and use it more often. Overall if Mineverse continues to be successful and endures people to donate I see it lasting for awhile.

 

Honestly I think it's on the verge on dying already. I think it'll be dead around the middle of 2017

 

lol if they don't get a new anti cheat by Thanks Giving they should change there name to Hackerverse and it will die beginning of 2017

It will die when it is forced to update to 1.9 pvp. Atleast, I'll stop playing when that happens.

 

It wasn't microsoft who decided to add 1.9 and 1.10 features. All of the developing and design is left to Mojang, Microsoft just takes the profit and enforced EULA.

 

tbh, it may die along with other servers because of the updates such as 1.9 and 1.10.
I do think MV is turning a new leaf, and will survive for a long time. That or poodlecorp decides to attack MC servers then we're all done for.

 

Tf you talkin bout Mv is already dead. Mv is like Minetime 2.0

 

Just like other Members have said,it all depends on Microsoft,if they decide to F*** Up Minecraft, MV will die with it,but as long as they don't F*** Minecraft up,MV should stay for quite a long time from now
