Making profile messages show up in only 1 alert

So, when you comment on a profile post, it's like you're clicking watch thread. But, if someone has a lot of replies say when you're sleeping, it spams you with lots of alerts. Is it possible to make it like a thread, where it shows 1 reply alert, so you don't get spammed with alerts?

How would you get spammed with alters whilst you're sleeping? Even on a phone you have to access the Forums via Google.

It was an example. If you're away from the forums and accidentally joined in on a message that would be spammed with a conversation, when you get back on you'll have a bunch of alerts.

I love getting Alerts, but they also can get annoying.

 

This should be an option for people, if they want to do this go ahead, but if they dont want to do this they can turn it off
